I thought I would start a thread for applicants to the 2016 MSN for Non-Nurses: Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion at Seattle University. I am applying for the Family Nurse Practitioner specialty. Any other applicants for this cycle? Questions and comments regarding the program and admissions process are welcome!

Does anyone know when the FNP track will hear back?

I got into the psychiatric track!!!! I'm unbelievably elated. I hope several of you are also receiving some good news!

did they go out for all tracks?

I'm sorry. In hindsight I should have probably waited to post. I'm super excited so I may have completely jumped the gun. I got an email saying to check my online application so I assumed that the notifications for all tracks must have been sent out (which I'm sure is a huge assumption). If they haven't notified you, I would think it would be very soon?? My guess is that FNP will take the longest because around half of all applicants applied for that track?

Congrats Oregonian! I am also psych track but haven't heard anything yet. Good to know they are sending out e-mails as I was told snail mail notification at the interview.

Just curious Oregonian89, when did you interview? Did the email come from the College of Nursing or Graduate Admissions? Thanks.

Thanks for posting the letter. Congratulations!! I just had my interview yesterday and I don't feel like I expressed my enthusiasm for Seattle U very well ;-( Fingers crossed.

for those who have not heard anything, does their AppTracker still say pending or does it say waitlisted?

I heard back from SU too for Psych!! I got an email yesterday afternoon, so maybe they're sending acceptances one by one?

It sounds like we'll be getting to know each other soon and we have a some exciting years ahead of us :):)

Congrats to you as well, Jess :) Yeah, maybe they're deciding on each spot (1-12) for each track and notifying people as they decide.

We definitely will get to know each other! It's so crazy to think that there are 11ish other people in our cohort that we've never met but will know extremely well and rely/depend on in a matter of months.
