Scrubs for the slim

Published

What is a really great brand of scrubs that fit slim girls? Im on the long and petite side and it's difficult to find scrub top that dont make me look frumpy or are too short for my torso. What brands would you recommend that are slightly fitted or fit a little more snugly on those of us who are slim?

I always equated petite with short. So "long and petite" does not compute in my brain.

Grey's Anatomy might fit you perfectly. I'm petite but not long. And those scrubs were too long but fit perfectly (5'4", 120 lb)

I was going to recommend greys anatomy! They are slim fitting, have adjustable under bosom buttons, are structured to fit snugly around your breast and waist.

I'm not "skinny", though I am short. And I like my scrubs to fit my body. The pants are a little long for me.

I've seen other small women wear koi brand--Lindsay tops and cargo bottoms.

I only wear these 2 brands. Neither fades either. They don't really shrink either.

Im 5'11 also.

Which type of scrubs are long enough for a 35 inch inside leg/seam?

Thanks!

I am thin and tall. I always have trouble finding scrub pants that are long enough, while not being too big. I wear cherokee scrub pants because they have an extra small in a tall size, which fits me well. I also cannot stand when scrub tops are too short. The ones I have now are from cherokee, too, but I don't remember which line. I try on a lot of different ones until I find what works. I can relate to the problem of not wanting to look frumpy, but needing something long enough.

Im going to try the Greys Anatomy line simply because they offer a small size in tall length. It's always tough finding flattering scrub bottom that aren't either fitting, but too short or Long enough but too big. Worth a try!

This is very helpful! Thanks:)

I'm tall too (6ft) but definitely not very slim and I think urbane scrubs fit well. They offer longer inseams as well if u search for the urbane warehouse website.

OP - you made me laugh! Lane Bryant is for the pluz size, Reubenesque gals like myself. I don't think you'll find anything!!! I just figured everyone in the world knew the name Lane Bryant!

Sorry for the mixup. :cheeky: But TY for the smile.

Ah. I see. Well some people are short and petite (such as a 5'1" 98lb woman). And some people are long and petite (such as a 5'11" 135 lb woman) like myself.

Those are my exact measurements, and I now have a new way to describe myself, lol!

As far as scrubs go, I have had good luck with NRG by Barco in either XST or ST. The XSs are a little snug around the booty, so I have lately been buying smalls and altering the waist a bit. (Super easy, even without a sewing machine!)

Also, I really like Smitten, specifically their "Hottie" pants despite their goofy name. They're made of a really neat fabric that hangs just right and are super comfy and flattering. The tops are slightly fitted and don't have the boxy thing going on that some brands do.

I find that I have to let the hems out of most "Tall" scrub pants, but the Smitten ones I mentioned upthread are the perfect length. (35" inseam here as well. :))

To OP - no need to feel stupid. It was my boo-boo, NOT YOURS. Just goes to show the gap between some diverse populations like the young and the old and the slender and not-so-slender.
