Hello, I wanted to start this thread for the Scripps Healthcare new graduate nurse position. The program was suppose to start August 12th 2011 from what I was told. Just wanted to start getting familiar with all of the people that applied and hopefully get some useful information going in this thread!:)

Hi toin43, thanks for starting this thread! I also applied for this Scripps New Grad RN program. I spoke with someone from the employment office today and they said it will take a couple of weeks for them to even review all the paperwork, so I guess we just have to be patient! Best of luck!

I applied!! Are you an internal employee?
I applied right away after finding out it was posted. I think I may have been too excited because I felt like I rushed through the application, but we'll see what happens.
What locations and departments did you list as your preference?
Hi CMEle86! I am actually not an internal employee, thankfully I was looking through the website on the day it was posted or else I probably wouldn't have known about it! It didn't seem like they advertised it much so I'm very thankful I saw it. It's hard not to get excited! haha I'm sure your application was fine, no worries. I listed Memorial, Mercy San Diego, and Green for locations, and Oncology, Medical Acute, and PCU. What about you?
SHUT UP!!! I applied for the EXACT same departments!! (Except for Oncology:lol2:) Awesome!!

Hey guys!
I was surprised this position was even posted. I didn't think they would post a new grad residency program after denying a ton of people (myself being one of them) from the previous new grad program just a few weeks ago. Did anyone else also interview for their last new grad program? I'm just so baffled!!!
Either way I think I was at the right place at the right time cause I just so happened to check the website a few days ago, I saw it, was shocked, applied, and then the next day the position was gone. It was so rushed I don't even remember what I applied to! I think it was La Jolla, Green, and...I forget the other one lol.
Good luck to all of you!!!! =)

I also interviewed for their last new grad program.... obviously I didnt get hired. I also decided to check the website and came across the new grad position. And I looked at the website 5 days after they posted it and I was shocked that they even still had it posted because of all the applicants that applied during the last round. BTW, I spoke with one of the nurse recruiters and she informed me that the interviews will likely take place in mid June. Good Luck everyone!

I also applied and chose Scripps Mercy SD, CV and Green Hospitals. I chose PCU, Oncology and Medical Acute. This is my first time applying with Scripps. Good luck to everyone who applied!

Well in the last round, I received an email inviting me to an interview 4 days before the interview. But before that email they notified me that I was in the applicant pool of possibly being considered for an interview about a week prior. And I believe that email as well as rejection emails wer sent at the same time. Hope that info helps.
