How was it!??!

It was ooooookay. Not as chaotic as some people had mentioned it might be. I was so nervous but my interviewers were very nice! I'm hoping I made a positive impression with at least one of them!

hey guys, good luck to you all for your interview! I myself am really nervous as well. Congrats CaliRN on getting yours done already. Mine isn't until Thursday but I can't stop thinking about it! I heard they are hiring around 55ish new grads? Correct me if I'm wrong. Good luck again!!!

I'll give you a tip. SELL YOURSELF! Why should Scripps pick you over the 50-100 other equally qualified applicants? What makes you any different? What can you contribute to the organization? I'm sure the interviewers already have an idea of which candidates they want to hire, and they will probably have their minds made up within the first few minutes of the interview.

Bring a portfolio, dress professionally - no 5" club platforms (tacky!) and wear a pants suit, no short skirts, no strapless tops please!

Have you interviewed with Scripps before? Either way, great advice.. Definitely went with a pants suit for my interview yesterday!

I'm sure you did great CaliRn13! You must be relieved that it is over, but now anxious to find out! Did they say when they will be making their decision? Or how many they were hiring/interviewing? I'm gunna ask at my interview but am just so curious!

How many did you interview with? Do you remember what units/hospitals? I hope you interviewed with a place you are really interested in, although I'm sure you would be happy with any place!

Hope everybody's interviews are going good! Let's hope they hire a bunch a new grads and we all get good news before Thanksgiving!!

I am relieved, but yes.. Now super anxious!!! They said we should hear in about two weeks. Not sure if that means two weeks from Monday or two weeks from when they're done interviewing though! I didn't ask how many were interviewing/hiring so if you find out please share!

I was bummed that I only interviewed with three managers :/ two were DOU and the other was for the DEU program. I would LOVE the DEU, but you're right, I would be happy anywhere! The DOU's sound fast-paced and exciting.

I would definitely enjoy good news before thanksgiving but I'm sure the holiday will probably just slow things down like always! Good luck to those of you interviewing the next couple of days!!

Thank you, caliRN13!!! I need it! I hope we get this!!!! Any last minute advice?!

Yes thanks CaliRn13!! Starting to get nervous! Here is a funny link though to keep everyone's spirits up!

And if you are really bored watch their History of rap videos!!! :woot:

Omg that video is soo funny! Linds what time is your interview tomorrow!? I'm so anxious I probably won't sleep.

Oh yeah, I heard from someone who interviewedtoday that they're hiring around 40 and interviewing around 200.
