Hi all!
Its that wonderful time again. Thought I would start this thread for any news from Scripps New Grad Program. Hopefully we hear good things back soon! Good luck to everyone!
My email said for both also. And they interview a lot of people. I know from the last DEU there were 12 positions and they interviewed 52. I was asked mainly all behavioral questions...tell me about a time when, how did you handle a hard situation ect..
I also have my BSN and bachelors in kinesiology. I am currently working as a RN for a pediatric home health.
Just wondering. I sent an email confirming my interview date and time but have not received any confirmation. Did anyone receive one?
I didn't get an email confirming they got my RSVP as well. I think on the original email it said the Talent Manager can't respond to individual emails and calls though.
Hi Gikg - I am in the same boat with you. I submitted my application at 8:36 and have heard nothing yet from Scripps. I have a BSN, a prior BS degree and lots of healthcare volunteer experience. Not sure what they are looking for but I am starting to think that Scripps is no longer giving automatic interviews to their top 50 applicant submittals as they seemed to do in previous cohorts. Nevertheless, stay positive and keeping checking your emails. I have hope you will hear back from Scripps or another great organization soon so keep the hope alive. Having not received an email from Scripps in my past 2 tries, I accepted a job offer with another great organization, so guess everything happens for a reason :)
I only answered the first question of the simulation and got an interview so I don't think it counts for much.
When I applied back in April, I ended up not being able to finish the app in one sitting and then before I could re-start, found out it wasn't worth it (I was applying the third day it opened, so there were way more than 500 apps in by then.) SO this time around I was expecting the simulation since I only did ONE question last time I applied and I never got it. And got an interview.

I was stressing myself over these questions. Now I have no idea how they choose an candidate.
I was probably one of the first person to apply (8:04). I did my preceptorship there. I don't have BSN but I am enrolled in a RN-BSN program. I am volunteering (not there but at UCSD). This sucks!!
Anyways good luck to you!! And good job on moving forward.
