Hi all!

Its that wonderful time again. Thought I would start this thread for any news from Scripps New Grad Program. Hopefully we hear good things back soon! Good luck to everyone!

Thanks for starting this thread!

Did anyone see an area on the application that indicated if you are applying to DEU or System Wide Program?

Specializes in ER.

It seemed as if you were applying to both? I didn't see an area to specify.

I copied and saved the posting and it indeed looks like both possibilities were combined into one application.

Here is the posting:

Since I'm stuck at an airport for the next few hours, I'm going to creep on past cohorts to see what we're looking at with regard to timelines! I feel like we won't have any status changes until after they close the posting but I'll post what I find in here...

Best of luck everyone!

I submitted my application around 9 AM. I think the application went up at 8 AM? Correct me if I'm wrong. It seems from what I have read on past Scripps threads they usually reach 500 applications by 12 noon and it is possible they may only look at the first 200/300 applications. I think in the last round they only looked at the first 50 applications from an email someone told me, I hope they look at more this time!

I applied at 12 noon and was the 320ish applicant. By 4:15 pm, there were 515 applicants when I talked to the recruiter on the phone. She said they really only look at the first few hundred. I am mad because I was all set to apply at 8am but some things came up and I wasn't at a computer. I asked how many they were hiring and she said she didn't know.

Oh and props to the applicant that got in first at 8:04 am!
