Hi all!
Its that wonderful time again. Thought I would start this thread for any news from Scripps New Grad Program. Hopefully we hear good things back soon! Good luck to everyone!
I had mine today too. I was with 4 managers. Same as you but with Chula Vista as well.I have no idea how it went. I feel okay about how I did, but I don't know. I couldn't tell if the managers were receptive.
How do you think you did, Cali-girlxoxo? I hope your interview went well!
Thanks! but ugh, I felt the same.. not being able to tell if the managers we're just being polite by nodding to my answers or if they were really interested or responsive to what I had to say. Overall, I feel confident but this is my 2nd interview with scripps and the 1st time I walked out feeling uber confident and ended with a rejection email 2 weeks later
I don't know, Im just praying for the best. Hopefully we both get calls! I'll keep you all updated
it's only been 2 days since my interview and i'm already getting anxious.... :/
Yeah I'm getting a bit anxious too. I've been analyzing my interview a lot.
Someone on the new grad facebook page said that the talent manager would be notifying people starting Wednesday possibly. So, I think the wait won't be as long as 2 weeks hopefully, that is if we got the job. If we didn't get it then I guess we may be notified at the 2 week mark.
I'll definitely keep updated if I hear anything though. Good luck to everyone!
I also have an ADN, but started my BSN program this past week @ GCU.
I heard from a scripps supervisor from Chula Vista that they are meeting today to review applicants and do the intial picks for each unit. Here specifically they are selecting 3 applicants per supervisor/manager and than meeting together to narrow it down to official picks. Supposedly, they will be hiring 2-3 new grads per unit so possibly 5-6 hires total for this hospital.
With that said, hopefully we hear something soon!!!!!!!!! praying and waiting for that call !!!!!!! good luck to us all
Hello my fellow nurses :) I also interviewed Friday. I have my BSN. I felt I did okay, some questions I felt I answered well. Other questions my nerves kinda got to me. I have been over- analyzing everything during the interview! ugh! haha I am definitely an over thinker! All I can say is that I did my best and hopefully one of the panel members liked me. I had a panel of four. I think depending on which unit we selected during the application determines the number of panel members we get? I am not sure though, it is just a wild guess? I wish you all the best of luck. Everyone I met at the interview while waiting seemed so sweet. It is always a pleasure meeting friendly fellow nurses. :) Think positive and stay positive no matter what! :)

Barf lol. But glad it's over!! I really hate interviews!! I felt it went better than last time but still didn't feel I made a great connection with any of them. I interviewed with a panel of 3. I wonder how they decide who gets 3 and who gets 4 hmmm. Well I hope everyone did better than me. I got a couple of positive comments but just felt like I lost there interest. Oh well hopefully my interview next week is better. And hopefully we all get good news by the end of next week!! Hard parts over now we just sit back and wait. Good luck to everyone!!
