Scripps New Grad Nurse Residency 2013

U.S.A. California

Published

Hello fellow new grads!

I'm starting this post to round up all the applicants for the 2013 cohort at Scripps in San Diego. I called HR today and they were rather tight-lipped about when the application would post, and was told "It will post in about 30-45 days" and to "keep checking the website". Enlightening, isn't it? Also to those who applied for the last round and will be re-applying, any tips you want to share for us newbies? thanks and I look forward to hearing from everyone that's just as stressed as I am.

Specializes in Near Future: ED, Future Future: ACNP!.
It's on the CA new grad RN FB page. Select post by others.

Thank you! I didn't see the "posts by others" option the first time.

You have to be a little more specific. Which message?

Ahh, I am so sad to just be seeing this. :( I am not even going to bother applying at this point if they were at 450 almost 24 hours ago. Maybe one day I will make it to sunny California - AFTER I have my RN experience!

Does anyone know what time they reached about 500 applications?

I don't know when they hit 500 but I do know this is the first time they hit 500 on the first day! They normally get to 500 in 48 -72 hrs. They are reviewing the applications, my status changed from "submission received" "to applicant review." Good Luck everyone!

Specializes in Hospice & Palliative Care, Oncology, M/S.

Last go-round they hit 500 by noon on the first day, I think. I'm constantly amazed by the number of applicants we have in this country!

I just realized, was there an area to select which dept we wanted to go into? I remember seeing which hospitals but not depts.
