Scripps New Grad Nurse Residency 2013

Hello fellow new grads!

I'm starting this post to round up all the applicants for the 2013 cohort at Scripps in San Diego. I called HR today and they were rather tight-lipped about when the application would post, and was told "It will post in about 30-45 days" and to "keep checking the website". Enlightening, isn't it? Also to those who applied for the last round and will be re-applying, any tips you want to share for us newbies? thanks and I look forward to hearing from everyone that's just as stressed as I am.

Is it still not up yet?!?

Do we have to upload letters of rec? It doesn't explicitly give any directions for it (doesn't even have it as a requirement), but wouldn't they want to see them?

I uploaded them. It's easier to have them up there than to worry about it.

It doesn't say on the website this time that they are only taking the first 500. Are they still doing that? I hope I made it. Having a job history makes these apps take forever. Then the talentmine took forever.

@Expharmagirl I read that too from previous application periods. I'm not sure. Did you upload your letters of rec?

How do you know if you made the 500 cut off (if there is one this time)? And since the interview dates are soon (11/26, 11/30, 12/3) how quickly do you think they will contact us? I have family in San Diego and I've lived there before so I'm not too worried about getting down there from NorCal but depending on how soon we will be contacted it will determine if I will drive or take a plane.

I uploaded them. It didn't say not to, so why not?!

According to Facebook, HR said they are only reviewing first 500 and were at 450 an hr ago. In the past the send out interview / rejection emails within 7-10 days.

Where on FB are you seeing this? I don't see it on the Scripps page.
