Scripps Healthcare New Grad Residency Program 2011, has anyone received a interview invitation?
I guess we now know the rejection emails can trickle in any time. I am still without The Email... as of yet... knock on fake-wood laptop desk.
I was hoping hard for all of you! I mean that sincerely. I almost feel like I 'knew' some of our little, anxious Scripps-interview family and I was looking forward to possibly working with you.
Well, back to waiting. Now I feel like anything could happen at any time.
Hi, Everyone! I got my rejection, too. At this point, I think it's for the best. Of course I am very disappointed, but I'm not taking it personally. None of you should either. I hope we will be there for each other in the future!
SarahLT- I'm holding out hope for you!! I hope you get it, and please keep us posted! I think it's encouraging you haven't gotten the dah dah daaahhhh. . . Email;)
Nevermind. My email just didn't go in the correct folder. It was there.
I think I would have been a great fit; too bad the notes taken by the interviewer didn't reflect that. I spent several hundred dollars on that trip - several hundred dollars that I didn't have.
The only other things on my plate right now are Sutter Jackson, UCLA and JFK Memorial Indio - missed the $%&* deadline for Sharp *and* Sutter Sacramento.
Only problem is - those programs start after my student loans come due groaaaan. I think I'm going to be sick. Time to go apply at Trader Joe's.

Sorry to hear.... I know what you mean, 10 minutes of generic questions and answers isn't really a good indicator of how well someone would perform in the program. I, too, have my plane ticket and car rental on credit. 500 something bucks that I could really use right now. Sorry if this post sounded bitter lol...
The email sort of made me mad with its endless paragraphs of fluff about how honored they were to meet us and how special we are, etc etc.... and how our resumes will remain on file for future positions...... a year from now! hooray.
Springy: exactly. I feel absolutely repellent. BSN from Duke, 900 clinical hours, great refs! ~100 apps, 2 interviews, no interest. Clueless.

I received the rejection email too. I wish I had received it Friday...it would have saved me from a weekend of false hope. On to the next application. Good luck to all of the new hires and see the rest of you on the message board.
