Hi guys! Just wanted to start a post for the cohort for August/October 2023. Just curious if anyone would know the answer to this but it says on their FAQs PDF that there is only positions in units like med/surge or telemetry however during the application, there were choices like medical acute and surgical acute. Does anyone know if those units are hiring or not? And if we could apply to multiple units?

Have you gotten the "referred to hiring manager" email?
nope... unfortunately not, which is why I really think it's a longshot at this point, but who knows

And Palomar opens in 5 days
Interesting. what is Palomar starting their new grads at?
For Scripps Green, they are running late with interviews. The interviewers usually spit up the interviewee's, but they have not received the schedule of who and when to start interviews, so they're just lagging a bit behind. Hope this helps!

I think pay is in the mid to high 40's?

My boyfriend did. He works on that unit and asked the people who normally do interviews. I also wouldn't be surprised if all the other hospitals are under the same condition.
I had to delay my start date to August 28. Scripps is amazing if you're transparent with your recruiter about your situation and a lot of the time, the hiring managers are equally understanding as well. This makes me feel confident that I'm with a great organization already. I applied for the MHC program and to my understanding, you should hear back with an offer at least 30 days prior to the start date because of the hiring process(physical, I9, labs, drug screen etc) that you must to do.

Until we hear back from Scripps, you should apply to all the other programs available in the San Diego area! Don't put all of your eggs in one basket, even if this is your first choice ? Focus on what you CAN control. Right now we've done everything we have been tasked with for this application process so far ?trust the process, friend!
