Scripps Health New Grad Residency August/October 2023

Hi guys! Just wanted to start a post for the cohort for August/October 2023. Just curious if anyone would know the answer to this but it says on their FAQs PDF that there is only positions in units like med/surge or telemetry however during the application, there were choices like medical acute and surgical acute. Does anyone know if those units are hiring or not? And if we could apply to multiple units?

That is so good to hear your mom is a survivor!! I'm sure she received great care from Scripps and can understand why you're hopeful for a position. Fingers crossed! 
 

I begin Aug 28 for the MCH(Maternal Child Health) program in Chula Vista. Basically labor and delivery as well as postpartum. I'm nervous and excited.

That is AMAZING! Congrats.  I have no idea how my interview for an Med/Surg Acute unit is being determined but I am happy about it.  There is always room to grow ?

Hello, yes at the time of my application they offered it.

IDK when she applied but I never saw it and when I spoke to recruiter it was only med surg positions so I'm not sure ?

If we haven't received anything past the referred to hiring manager for Scripps Mercy can we assume we didn't get chosen? Or are they still selecting interviewees?
