Scripps Health New Grad Residency August/October 2023

Hi guys! Just wanted to start a post for the cohort for August/October 2023. Just curious if anyone would know the answer to this but it says on their FAQs PDF that there is only positions in units like med/surge or telemetry however during the application, there were choices like medical acute and surgical acute. Does anyone know if those units are hiring or not? And if we could apply to multiple units?

I just got my rejection letter after my interview last Monday ? I have 4 years of CNA experience and 2 of volunteer . And I'm a former model LOL IDK what they're looking for sad but good luck everyone !

I'm sorry ? which Scripps did you interview with? Was it for the new grad floor or a specialty?  And tbh I have no idea either LOL I was an extern at UCSD for a whole year and I didn't get a spot there and I was so sad.

Ahhh OK. I interviewed there on Thursday but I haven't heard anything yet. I don't feel like it went well though. They didn't smile at me once ?

Thank you for your reply, I know it's not fun ? I was rejected from UCSD and Sharp...but Palomar opens next week!

I'm sorry that's so harsh... I understand. Like IRunToBEJEN- I interviewed with UCSD and never heard anything. Like totally ghosted. So if it's any consolation, at least it's closure and not stringing you along. 
UCSD new grad opens June 16 ??

I totally agree! I would much rather know than have no idea and have false hope. I had to call UCSD to find out ?

Same!  I expected more of a university because they literally have to reject applicants every year as a University. ?‍♀️

So Palomar next week and then UCSD June 16th? Thank you good to know ? also I saw MCH is opening tomorrow says new grads and in transition nurses so maybe I can apply there ! Anyone know ?
