I graduated on May 12th and it's been a LONG wait for the state to finally issue authorization to test with Pearson. July 7th at 8 AM is the big day.
Our nursing program gave each graduating nurse a scholarship "gift" of the Kaplan 4-day NCLEX prep. I've been doing practice Q-Bank questions nearly every day. So far, I'm doing pretty well on the trainers & Q-Banks. I simply cannot wait to get this over & done with. I have a job lined up and I cannot start until I pass the NCLEX, per their policy.
Anyone else taking their exam next week?
Lots of people testing in this upcoming week! Wishing good luck to all of us! :) I've been doing Uworld and honestly LOVE it. I can't say enough good things about it. I wish that I had started it earlier.
Hi! Im also using uworld and im planning to take my nclex next month.. If you dont mind me asking, did uworld help you a lot? I just wanna know cos im not sure if i should purchase it instead of kaplan's qbank..
So, no results yet on Continental Testing. I might be waiting for Quick Results at this point. A friend from my class tested at the same day/time/testing center and her results are also not up on Continental Testing, so at least I'm not alone there. This wait feels like it's taking foreveeeeer.
Also, welcome bullinsl5725 & Nurse-in-the-making2 to the waiting party!

Yes, it really helped me! If you're not sure, UWorld offers a free week trial. That way you can do a few hundred questions and see what the entire test bank is like without having to pay first. I also had the Kaplan QBank, but honestly... I love UWorld. The rationales are amazing and really help you learn the content while practicing questions. I stopped using Kaplan as soon as I found UWorld. Still though, lots of people use Kaplan with great success, so whichever source you choose, I'm sure you'll do great! :)

I cried, too! My test stopped at 77 questions. I went to the car and took out my phone to call my family and I just burst in to tears that it was finally over :)
Here's hoping we ALL passed!!!!!!!!! (I'm sure we did!)
