as far as I am aware there has been no schedule A since retrogression commenced last year. Nurses go through Nebraska and Texas only with all files going to Nebraska and then they make the decision which to send to Texas. H1c is not really recommended and only usable for a handful of places

JUST NOW I HAVE CHECKED USCIS OFFICIAL SITE FOR UPDATE OF MY I-140 AT TEXAS CENTRE,WHEN I SAW NEW UPDATE I WAS SHOCKED TILL YESTERDAY THE CURRENT DATE FOR I-140 WAS 13 NOV 2006,BUT TODAY IT DISPLAYING AUG1,2003?MY GOSH: WHAT IS THIS I WAS JUST COUNTING DAYS FOR MY I-140 APPROVAL AND THE DATES HAVE BEEN PUSHED BACK,THIS IS ONLY FOR TEXAS CENTRE OTHERWISE FOR ALL OTHER CENTRES CURRENTS DATES OF I-140 APPROVAL IS IN 2006,AND THER ARE SOME DIFFERENT CATOGARIES IN I-140 PETIONS IN TEXAS AND AND OTHERS CENTRE....................I HUMBLY REQUESTING TO ALL OF YOU KINDLY ENLIGHTEN TO ME ON THIS ISSUE,WHY THERE ARE HUGE DIFFERANCE IN CURRENT I-140 APPROVAL DATES? WHAT IS NEXT OPTION FOR ALL OF US INDIAN NURSES WHO HAVE PASSED ALL EXAMS TO IMMIGRATE U.S.? WHAT THEY SHOULD DO NEXT?........................:angryfire
who knows with the service centres what happens, unfortunately there isn't a lot you can do but wait as you have no control on which service centre you file with. ALl nurse I140 goes to Nebraska and they decide whether your file goes to Texas or stays with them
But he is asking about schedule A which there hasn't been any since late last year.

YES .AND THERE HAVE BEEN SO MANY UNEXPECTED CHANGES IN I-140 APPROVAL....WHICH BEYOND MY UNDERSTANDING.... LAWARENCE PLEASE EXPLAIN FURTHER.............?
I ment to say that earlier (before 15th ),the processing dates showed I140 -SCHEDULED A nurses with processing dates 13th nov 2006.
But on recent updates the sheduled A category no more exists in i140 columm instead nurses cat. is included in non immigrant H1C visas .
Under which category in i140 does we come who have alredy applied for i140 and waiting for approval.
Hope I was able to clear up my question.
Silverdragon thanks for ur clearification but there is a slight mistake done by u ,I am a female

If you notice the processing dates for AOS of some categories have moved up from August 1st 2001 to March 15th 2007, while the I-140 dates have been pushed back. I guess that this maybe because of the sudden release of visas whiich was primarily done to relieve the pending AOS cases(mentioned in the visa bulletin).
Although this does not explain why the processing dates for I-140s would be pushed back instead of staying steady at November 13th 2006.

There has not been Schedule A in any Bulletin since February of this year. It no longer exists, and RNs are under the EB-3 category with most other professions that require the Bachelor's degree.
This is the point that I have been trying to make for sometime, nurses are not currently being expedited in their processing for the green card. You are currently gtouped in with hundreds of thousands that are in the US on an H1-B visa in the IT field and are also waiting for the green card processing.
The H1-C is a special visa that is only for 15 facilities in the US, and it is definitely not a good thing. Never, ever recommend it.

What the..... I chose ADN over BSN 2 years ago, because its elligibility for ADN RN applying GC. At the beginning, I wanted to apply BSN accelaration prgram for people who hold Bach degree, and I got one. But, because of money or financial reasons I chose ADN.
I hope I read the wrong post here, please edited if u were wrong.
thank's
