San Jacinto College ADN-RN Spring 2010

Did anyone else apply for the San Jac ADN program for Sping 2010? Which option did you apply under?

I applied under option A. My SAT score is 1170. When applying under option A, do they take anything else into consideration? My overall GPA (94 hours at San Jac and UHCL) is 3.3.

for San Jac, I went to current students/bookstore/central online bookstore, and then put in the campus, RNSG for the class and class #, which is 1413 for Foundations for Nursing and 1215 for Health Assessment. The section doesn't matter. It shows the same books for any section. For 1144 and 1160, it showed the same books as for 1413. For The College Store, it didn't have 1215 listed, but it has 1413 and you can select all for section, and then it gives you a list of the books. Hope that helps and I didn't just confuse you.

misty, when I search for 1413 at thecollegestore.com there are 2 fundamental books. Do we need both of them?

I guess they are 2 different books since the ISBN # is different and the price is different. I'm not really 100% sure though.

Yeah I saw that too. I guess I will buy both of them. Are there any other books that we need to buy cause when I looked at the different courses, the books are the same.

Has anyone been able to login to blackboard? I keep trying and for some reason it is giving me an error message. I tried calling tech support but they told me that I have to be registered for classes in order to login. Of course I told him that I can't register till I login and see what my classes are lol. I am getting a good run around here.

o hey guys just saw the post about the book...the foundations book on the college store website is wrong... you need an access code along with it! Its hard to find online. I know this info because i work at the bookstore across the street. hope this helps:yeah: good luck to everyone next week i'm hoping to apply next fall

i'm going to be applying for fall 2010 so i'm gonna take the act. do i have to take the act with writing or can i just take the one without writing.

Its up to you, but I took the one with writing. The college I believe doesnt look at the writing section so you really dont need to take it.

I can finally login to blackboard, but I can't find our classes on the course schedule. Anyone else having this problem?

How did you login to blackboard? i only ask because I cant login and tech support seems to be useless.

I was getting an error message too. I emailed them and they said that I had to register for a class in order for blackboard to create an account. So, I just registered for a pe class and a few hours later i was able to login.
