Did anyone else apply for the San Jac ADN program for Sping 2010? Which option did you apply under?

I applied under option A. My SAT score is 1170. When applying under option A, do they take anything else into consideration? My overall GPA (94 hours at San Jac and UHCL) is 3.3.

Does anyone know if they have released the schedule? i am still not able to login to blackboard so I dont know.

Yes they are up, but only for 1215 and 1413. Do we only register for those 2 classes now? The other 2 classes are 2nd 8 weeks so do we wait til then to register for them?

Where do you see the schedules? I see it was updated but 1215 is still mostly empty and I dont see 1413.

Congrats to all of you that got in....I'm going on my second semester and I know what it feels like to feel so lost and already stressed....if you guys have any questions let me know, I'll be glad to help if I can!

Does anyone else feel a bit nervous?

I practically uprooted my whole life to position myself in the situation that I am, yet somehow I am overwhelmed by this enormous sense of "wow." I was well prepared to handle the pressures that going with nursing, both physical and emotional, because I knew what to expect. But the problem with nursing school is that I have no idea what to expect. I dont know how they grade, what the exams look like, how clinicals are going to go, which hospital will I be at, etc etc.

I guess the fear of the unknown is hitting me now. Plus, it doesnt help that I need 9 freakin books just for the first semester alone. I am a healthy 26 year old who workouts often and lifts weights, yet I needed to buy a pully bag to carry my books lol.

I just wanted to know that hopefully I am not the only one feeling this way.

Does anyone know the course ID number for fundamentals for MyNursingLife. I tried to register for it and take some quizes but I couldnt find the course ID number anywhere.

Hello My name is Denise and I'm a previous Nursing Student with a few books that can proabably help and save money for some people that are still looking. I would like to sell them for a fraction of the cost and they are in like new condition: Medical-Surgical Nursing Care second edition, Stedmans"s Medical Dictionary, Nursing Diagnosis Manual, Dosage Calculations, and a few more.

Do you guys know what the min. Act score that got accepted was? I'm applying for the fall 2010 program so any information would be great! Also, where did you guys take the Act? Do they offer it at San jac?
