I just called and she said not all of the acceptance emails have gone out yet. She said something like a first round will go out and then if there are any left a second round will go out.

Well good, then there's still hope! There's also waiting list and probation letters that get sent out, too. They must be just running realllllly slow.

not sent out yet? Orientation is this week! lol
At least there is till hope. Good luck misty.
taylorxteddy, I did take the cpr class, but i took it somewhere else. I found it to be cheaper and easier. Yeah i found the physical to be almost too intrusive but I realize why it has to be so thorough. Luckily for me, I checked out okay. I only have to finish my hep a series and I should be done. Good luck getting into nursing school.
I pretty much am assuming by now I didn't get in since I still haven't heard anything, but am still anxious to at least get a rejection email so I know for sure. Is there anyone else who has not heard anything? curiouschiller, has everyone you know applying heard something by now?
Well my question is finally answered...I got in! I was just on the alternative list I guess. They called and said someone declined or didn't respond and I can have their spot!
misty, great news. are you going to orientation?
Yes, I feel so far behind though since I just found out today and orientation is in the morning. That only gives me a week to get the physical, CPR, etc...
Hey does anyone have a list of the books that we are going to need for this upcoming semester? I only remember a few of them, and I am trying to purchase them online for a cheaper price. Any help would be appreciated.
you can look at the bookstore for San Jac online and it gives you a list and thecollegestore.com/sjc also gives a list with the ISBN#. The san jac bookstore online doesn't give the ISBN#.
Misty, Thanks. Do you know the ISBN for the health assessment book? from what I remember about the orientation, I need to start studying for that class before classes start.
No, for some reason the college bookstore doesn't have that one listed. I ordered most of mine from Barnes and Noble because the new ones were less than the listed price for the used books on the San Jac website. They have a members pricing sale with free 3-day shipping right now. I didn't order the Health Assessment book or the Foundations for Nursing book though. I might go to the San Jac bookstore and just buy both of those Monday.
Misty,
What section and class did you look up at the san jac bookstore and at the college store sight? I wanna buy my books asap so I get them before class starts.
