San Jacinto College ADN Fall 2011

Just wanted to start a thread for the Fall 2011 SJC applicants to the ADN Program. I am eagerly awaiting the application period. Have any of you applied to other schools nearby?

Enrollment services is open till 7pm....I think you could email it as an attatchment possibly. Almost every grocery store and apartment complex office has a fax machine. It can be done! Don't give up now if you have alaready gone through all the trouble of the drug screen background check and HESI...

You are so awesome, rocket_ryder! I wish that were the case. I called previous to me posting and they told me no apps will be accepted after 5p. I completely understand...rules are rules. Unfortunately, I'll have to charge this one on me.

OMG! I wanna cry for you!!! that totally sucks! and forget the whole rules are rules deal...tell them they made an exception for those that didnt make 75% on their HESI last semester! i really feel for you...today, i actually checked the copies of my application and everything i turned in just to make sure i had filled everything in and turned everything in...just in case i needed to go up there at the last minute and fix anything. **hugs**

Wow. It appears I made a rookie mistake. Moral of this post- pay attention to detail. Looks like I'll be lurking on the San Jac Spring 2012 thread after all. Chunky_Munkey...I'm baaack!:D

WHA!!!!! OMG!!! I was really looking forward to picking your brain about your application. Holy upon holy molys, I'm really bummed out for you. Keep your chin up and we'll get through SPRING 2012 together. I'll be sure to remind you about turning in the right application.

Thanks, chunky_munkey et al! My pity party is over and I'm moving on! It's amazing how one (or a couple? I can't remember!) glasses of Moscato changes the perception of everything. Uh...scratch that! Ha! Good luck to all! :D

nursing dept said late june to mid july...were not even a week past deadline and im already about to climb the walls

I was told 4-6 weeks after the deadline, before acceptance emails go. Rejection letters will apparently be mailed.

I hate the waiting!!! Worst part is...I won't find out anything from my #1 choice till early till mid August if I even get an interview!

I just want to know!

But you'll have to accept sj acceptance before u know from ur first choice. What if u accept sj and then get into ur first choice? U just back out of sj last minute?

that's typically what happens. Schools will pull from their alternate lists up until the first day of school.
