Just wanted to start a thread for the Fall 2011 SJC applicants to the ADN Program. I am eagerly awaiting the application period. Have any of you applied to other schools nearby?

I tried calling the nursing department and enrollment services to get some sort of information regarding whether or not my application was still there and in full yesterday. No one can tell me anything.
Guess I wil just wait it out and find out! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post up IMMEDIATELY when someone gets an email!!! I hate this waiting and know that there are at least 4-6 weeks of it still ahead of me. UGH!
Today is just the deadline so I'd give them a week or so before they really get into the sorting and selecting. Just to know how many applicants there are would be nice to know...even how many last semester just to know since they had to lower grade requirements on HESI in order to fill spaces. I think they may have a lot of applicants who didn't meet the 75% still turn in applications this semester bc of the issue last semester.
do you know how many were accepted with below 75% scores?
no i sure dont...but i did talk to some students that were accepted last semester and they had B's in their prereqs so apparently the bar wasnt set very high last semester. but i hear it is easier to get into the Spring semesters vs the fall semesters.
I turned in the wrong application. How is that possible, you ask? It was to another nursing program...for Spring 2012! I'm looking right at San Jac's completed application for Fall admission. I live in the Museum District, I'm nowhere near a fax and it's rush hour in the Med Ctr. This is so pathetic, but I'm just like...whatever. I can't even cry. Never in the history of me has this happened. I have a lot on my plate...maybe too much. Oh, good lawd!

I am certainly hoping that the majority of applicants are those that are extrmemly mediocre...I am sure there are quite a few that get thrown out immediately.. I just hate the stress!!! I want to know NOW
