San Jacinto College ADN Fall 2009

Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program?

Lets talk about it here

I know I stared at the medial leg muscles and went blank. Miswrote a couple of them for sure. Kind of glad I made that 96 in lecture, cause it's looking like it's gonna save my lab grades : /

I could use a few extra points on the lab practical since I was short changed on the lecture test. I still think everyone should have received the same amount of additional points. What's the point of studying so much when I could kick back and earn an 88 and get bumped up to a 96.

I don't think he's ever done extra points, so that's a dead horse : )

But yeah, you don't have to kill yourself with the studying. He's pretty generous on the curve.

So you're saying he doesn't like to go about the 100 mark. My A&P I instructor was uniform in her distribution of extra points so the "106" and "104 "grades came in handy when I made an "89" on the final.

Yeah. If he does it again, he'll offer some form of extra credit near the end of the semester. I can't quite remember what he asked us to do, and how many points it was, but it was enough to quell the nerves.

You'll be fine though. I wouldn't hit the panic button yet : )

Is everyone ready for Monday? I viewed some You Tube clips of the CVS in the cat so I would have some idea of where they are.

Hmm, I'm not gonna' study the nerves in depth till about Thursday. I'd rather ace the lecture exam than worry about next week's lab exam.

So, long answer short, no. I'm not ready for tomorrow's lab at all.

So have you started reading the ch 22? I've read some of it, but I decided to make sure I had the blood and heart info straight. I bought a pack of index card (1,000) for only $5 at Sam's the other day:lol2:

I'm just thankful that A&P is keeping me busy. But I do check my email daily just in case they send out notices earlier than they expected.

Ditto with the AP. Otherwise I'd be a nervous wreck for sure.

I also just realized I wrote nerves in my last post. Silly beaver meant veins and arteries. Been one of those weeks I guess.

Well I'm having to review the order of the arteries since this area is totally foreign to me. Russell, looks like you're on your way to an A on the lab test.
