Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program?

Lets talk about it here

I turned in my application on May 20 and I have not received an e-mail. My last name starts with a H. Hopefully I will get one soon!

I received my e-mail on the 1st of June. I turned in all my application stuff in mid-May, so I'm unsure of how exactly they're going about this whole e-mail thing. I will say to those who haven't received theirs yet, you may want to check with either Enrollment Services or the nursing department themselves to make sure they got everything. It's funny how papers like to get lost.

So nervewracking though. Good luck to everyone who's applied!

I was talking to some people in my A&P 2 Class and we have come up with a theory...Did those of you that got the email have to have any transcripts sent from another school, or have a transcrip evaluation?

I didn't have any transcripts transferred. As far as degree evaluations, it seems that one was requested along with a transcript on 5/19 by the nursing dept (you can see requests on SOS).

Waiting sucks!

How do you find requests on sos??

For Transcript requests:

In "View my Records" go to "Unofficial Transcript"

In the brackets under the blue line go to "View Status of Transcript Requests"

Then see if there is one under "Date Ordered"

For Degree Evaluations:

In "View my Records" go to "Degree evaluation"

Select the term, then in the brackets under the blue line chose "View Previous Evaluations"

I submitted my app like May 5 or so. My last name starts with a C but I did have 1 transcript that needed to be evaluted. But I received an email like everyone else on June 1st.

And FYI. I have a friend that just graduated from the program and she said that she didn't get her letter of acceptance till about a month before classes started.

Aw man. That's gonna' make things worse if that happens to me. I'm terrible at waiting to begin with. Hopefully they'll be merciful and let us know mid-June beginning of July.

Lol, They wont answer the phone. But...If I was them I would not answer either... Just imagine...500 or more anxiouls people constantly calling, the phone constantly ringing...
