Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program?
Lets talk about it here
I'd believe there are people who haven't started reading, and they'd do okay. Our first week is mainly a throwaway week due to orientations so there's plenty of time to read.
Also, clinicals have been posted, but blackboard is wigging out on me so I can't see. Lemme know if you guys can see it and tell me where I'm going because it's driving me insane!
*Edit* And they're not the clinicals for us. Woo? So they got assignments for the other classes but not ours? I'm...confused.
Yeah. Apparently we rank pretty low on the list of need to know students.
Anyway, wayward e-mails forgotten, is anybody reading past the 4 chapters for fundamentals/foundations and assessment? I seriously thought about it (for lack of anything better to do really) but figured being bored was preferable to being asleep.
I also have a feeling that after this semester, every other word we say is going to be nursing process.
I'd think that would be pretty easy. As much has been ballyhooed about these classes, there's really nothing overly complicated. For those who've never done medical work, obviously doing the skills for the first time might be a challenge, but all the rest (the reading, projects, etc...) are all basic college skills that everybody should have by now.
So I think it's doable. If I did work, I probably would as well.
Second semester is a different beast though. I did a quick read through of a pharm book. Made me glad I didn't work and it wasn't a first semester class : )
