San Jacinto College ADN Fall 2009

Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program?

Lets talk about it here

Should be where you usually see online classes on blackboard. I can't see it because...well I have no idea why actually.

I've never heard of taking a PE class online so, again I'm useless. My knowledge is pretty limited on that front.

Just an FYI. You won't find out what clinical to register for 8B term until at least midway through 8A. Not even the ADN office knows this information yet. The dept. is still securing clinical spots for the second term. They seriously let you know as soon as they receive the information.

everyone DID register for three classes right? the fundamentals, health assessment, and clinical?

4. Health Assessment, Fundamentals, Intermediate Skills, and clinicals. And as recently told, clinicals won't open up till midway through the semester most likely.

oh it only has me as three classes.. are you sure? lol. fundamentals and intermediate skills are the same class...i thought

They're different. The classes are 1413 (Fundamentals), 1215 (Assessment), 1144 (Intermediate Skills), 1160 (Clinicals).

Well i do not see my name in the clinical class. How did you sign up for that Russell?

Oh and I am pretty proud... fyi to everyone. I got every book that they told us to get from all the syllabus at majors book store... with the discounts and everything for all brand new books it cost me $677... not as bad as I thought.

And tuition for me was only $385... really weird.

I haven't signed up for any clinicals as of yet. I was just explaining to Shayna that we had 4 classes to take this semester (but they're all staggered in a very confusing way that my brain still hasn't comprehended yet).

Dang though, that's pretty good. I'll be near there, but I just can't stand spending full price for things I know I can get cheaper. It's my old life not letting me go just yet : )

And I envy you in district students. I envy you very much.

ok i'm only signed up for three classes.

i'm not signed up for the clinicals.

i don't see my name in the 1160 class.

i'm so confused.

Because there is no 1160 class yet. They haven't released names or hospitals for any clinicals yet.

So we can't register for clinicals until our names are listed on the schedule? Has anyone tried to sign up for clinicals?

Pharm, I would talk to a counselor before signing up for an online PE class.
