San Jacinto College ADN Fall 2009

Published

Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program?

Lets talk about it here

well all of my classes start at 8... not so happy about that. i'd rather wake up early and do last minute studying than staying up way late to studie. =C i need a new alarm clock. plus I live in League CIty so it's quite a commute for me.

Thank you! Yeah I got nothing so I am going to go talk to them today... Thanks again! :)

Well at least you'll get them out of the way. I can see what you mean though. I don't mind being up late...obviously. I also live in League City and can sympathize with the commute. Especially in the Spring and Fall semesters.

Dang. Well, they'll be able to tell you exactly. Sorry I couldn't help you any more.

My classes were $734 but with general fees and lab costs it totaled $900. And the last time I checked Clear Lake was in Texas.

Haha, I wasn't sure. I'm from California, remember? : p

Thank you all for bringing my overpriced tuition to my attention. I'm now getting a $350 refund thanks to all your input about cost. I didn't question the expense because I just thought that the nursing program would be more expensive than the regular classes.

So did everyone read the announcement about the Foundations orientation? I need to go out and buy some white athletic shoes now. We also have to bring a printed version(Russell) of the 1st section of the syllabus along with the course calendar. And the notorious APA manual with a highlighter and post it notes.

Fun times are around the corner.

Does anyone know how to open the course calendar?

Wow, I'm really glad you caught that. That would have sucked to find out later on (even if they would have refunded it late on in the semester).

Yeah, I saw all that bit of wonderful last night. At least our first exam isn't until the second Friday! Yay!

Also, Eyvette just sent out an e-mail saying that they haven't received the hospital assignments yet, which leads me to believe we'll register for those soon--hopefully.

It just goes to show that it pays to network. I'm starting to get a tad bit nervous. But that little bit of anxiety will give me the needed energy to make it to the winter break.

I opened the calendar in word (or its equivalent). Seems a lot of people have been having spreadsheet/word processor issues with all of this.

Just thought to myself that we'll at least be able to meet up with each other on Tuesday and Wednesday before we all separate into our respective classes. Hooray for that at least.

Where is the course calendar?

It's in the class under course calendar. On blackboard. Should be there, keyword being should.
