San Jacinto College ADN Fall 2009

Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program?

Lets talk about it here

Have you turned in all of your paperwork? Are you listed as continuing ed? Could be a bunch of things.

Ooops I tested to see if it would let me register since I haven't got all my my papers in...it did.

Chelken, Shayna...looks like I'm in your class.

I didn't quite get the continuing education thing. Do I call to get it changed or will it change automatically after early registration ends?

I was unable to register and when I called they told me it was because I was listed as Continuing Education. They told me it would take atleast 24 hours but after holding for awhile they fixed it over the phone. I tried again to register and got farther than the first time but now I am getting a Program Restriction message. I have turned in everything so I am unsure what that means. I am currently on hold again trying to find out. Once I get clarification, I will post it.

Just making sure..but did you all change your major at the counselors office?

It was a near 2 hr wait today when I went.

Also it seems as if I was charged as an international student instead of out of district

I didn't have to change my major because I was told that the nursing department was sending e-mails to one of the counselors to do that.

Ha! That would have been nice to know.

Probably a good thing I went anyway since I'm in the middle of a name change, and the RNSG dept hadn't changed it yet.

Yeah, sorry. I've been waiting for them to change mine, but my SOS keeps showing my current semester as Summer 2007, so I'm really unsure as to if it's been changed or not.

I wasn't positive if they were actually doing this or not, so I didn't feel it would have helped anybody or not. If it makes you feel any better, I had to wait in the counselors office for an hour and a half as well just to get that answer from the counselor.

The counselor did have a list of students, so they should get to it soon.

Awesome. Hopefully they'll get around to it. I'm not real worried at the moment; at least I've got my schedule to dream about for a week and half! Woo!
