Hello ^.^

I just barely started college this summer session, so I'm new to all this. (2 days after HSgraduation!!)

I'd like to know how to approach this as quickly as possible.

So far I've taken Summer A- with History 1302 and Sociology..

but... I've noticed PSYC2301 was starred as a requirement. Did I just waste my time taking sociology?

Or is there a minimum amount of hours required before the requirement applies?

I'm sorry for the bother -_-" I'm following a simple paper that lists the requirements but I'm confused.

I haven't talked to a counselor.

Are there any recommendations for Professors/courses that I should take? Online classes, etc recommended?

I want to get it over with as fast as possible while maintaining a decent grade.

Feedback appreciated pleasssse! ^___^

I'm currently signed up for Phil1301 for session B to meet my humanities requirement and 1301 to finish my History requirement

Are you trying to get you associate or bachelor degree in nursing? You will need sociology, philosophy, and history for you bachelor degree but not for your associate degree. If a associate is you goal at this point, you do not need to take Phil1301. You need to go talk to a counselor ASAP to help you with your decision.

Also, if you are going to take algebra I would suggest Mrs. Eska. She is a great teacher. I am 43 years old and have not had any math (and no algebra at all) since high school. Mrs. Eska is very patient and kind. I took Mr. McReynolds for AP I, APII, and Micro. I loved his teaching style...it is a very hard subject and he explained it well.

Do not worry about "wasting your time" if an associate's is your goal. You are very young and have plenty of time. You will probably want to get a bachelor's in your future and you will be that much closer to it when the time comes.

Congrats to you for going to school in the summer after your high school graduation.:yeah: Good luck and hang in there!

Does anyone think it will be too hard to do 2 PE classes AND an arts/humanities class in a may mini course?

I just don't know when to get those things done.. I don't wanna be overwhelmed doing that AND nursing courses

at the same time...

What are y'alls opinions/preferences??

I don't think you'll have any trouble with that. The PE classes are pushovers in that you can get A's very, very, very easily. The humanities classes are also pushovers when it comes to materials. I took a music class and it was not intensive in the least bit.

It's really up to you on whether or not you can do it. My opinion would be go ahead and do that. You're going to need to get them done eventually : )

I totally bombed the A&P 2 Final but got a B in the class! I am so relieved!

Does anybody know if we have to wear all white shoes?

Sweet! Grats to you.

Not sure about the white shoes. I think it's more along the lines of, find shoes that are comfortable and wear those.

how are y'all dressing to the orientation?

and ps- someone said they are getting pharmacology note cards? where does it say to get those?

Specializes in Oncall Hospice RN.

Shayna, I'm just getting the cards for my own benefit. They're not a requirement.
