Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program?
Lets talk about it here
No problem. Sorry I couldn't be more specific, but I passed by that number so quickly that I'm not entirely sure when I got it.
Also, for those who may have not looked at our books for our first semester, we have to have 3 total. One is around 10 dollars and was something about the Nursing Board or something along those lines. The other one was Foundations of Nursing bundle that was 140 new, and the last was a Medical Terminology/Medical Dictionary bundle for 60 I believe.
Just an FYI for those like me who need to know everything right now : D
Shana, the May mini goes from May 17th-ish to June 5th-ish. I've heard that the fall semester is the easiest semester, but that you still have to cram a lot of info in an 8 week period. So I'm waiting until May to take a PE to insure that I have enough time to study. I also don't want to bothered with some stupid test for a PE class when I need to study for the nursing courses.
Russell- how did you do on the lab test? I made a "90" so I'm pretty sure that I pulled off an A in the class. I guess he didn't make any mistakes on the test since Jillian made a "98."
I made an 88, so I essentially had to make a 73 or so and above on the final to make an A. I didn't miss number 2 though, which I found odd since a lot of others missed it. Usually I'm the one making the easy mistakes like that x_x
My essays were terrible though. I suppose I deserve it for not studying more on those, heh.
That final was rough. I was so tired yesterday after studying for the lab practical. I was also upset about having to learn so much new material one day and then having a test on it the next. But I remembered that in real life, we have to learn to absorb info on the spot so I guess this experience was useful after all. I'm just thankful that I don't have to work or I wouldn't have the time or energy to study.
Okay, so I could only find the ISBN for the Nursing Foundations bundle. For some glorious reason, the online bookstore refuses to post ISBN numbers, so I'm having to hunt the publishers sites.
ISBN-13: 978-0-13-512684-4 (This is for the Nursing Foundations bundle)
I'll keep looking for the Terminology/Dictionary bundle, so bear with me : D (wow, I just noticed I wrote the animal instead of, you know, the word I needed. I'll keep it there for the comical effect it has)
I know about what you mean for the studying. A couple of us went to talk to the nursing people, and they were telling us that what we just went through with A&P 2 is akin to how the nursing classes are going to play out. I was kind of excited at that thought, because I perform better when there's more pressure to do good.

I just want an indoor exercise class. I took yoga in the spring and hated having to write papers while juggling 2 science classes.
