Has anyone gotten a response from the SFSU BSN Program? I emailed someone a while ago and they said it would be rolling around sometime between April and May (how vague :zzzzz). I am just a nervous wreck as everyone else waiting for their ACCEPTANCES (positive thinking!). I think I'm going insane checking the website once or twice a day . I've read somewhere around this forum that people have already been admitted or denied into the MSN program and the Accelerated BSN @ the Canada branch, but I applied at the main campus.
Here's hoping and praying...
OH and to all Spring 2010 admits,
Solidus_snake gave us a great idea for what classes to take during the fall semester (thanks, Solidus_snake!). He said we should take Segment III classes (3 classes in the same cluster, totaling to 9 units) which is the last GE (general education) requirement for graduation. We already completed Segment I and II at the community college.
I Just found out I got into the nursing program at SFSU!!! I feel like only people who are actually in this with me know the feeling of getting in!!!! I had a 3.98 when I applied and 2/3 supplemental criteria! I have 1 prereq to go so I will begin the program in Spring of 2010. Congrats to all the people who got in! We should all stay in contact with each other!!!

Hi Tamati89! Congratulations! So we will be classmates in Spring 2010 then. For this fall 2009 semester, I guess we're doing Segment III of our GE's, which is required to graduate at state. That's 3 classes, 9 units total. See you soon!
Hey guys!
CONGRATS TO ALL THOSE WHO GOT ACCEPTED FOR FALL AND SPRING =)
I got accepted to SFSU for fall 2009! =) I'm from Los Angeles and considering that school but SFSU's nursing website doesn't give enough info. =/ How long is the program and is this a top nursing school? I'm deciding between SFSU and Mount St. Mary's BSN program. If you guys could give me some info about SFSU's nursing, that would be GREAT!

hey bxdo,
Oh, don't rely on calling the admissions office because they might give you the wrong information. That happened to me. They told me that I didn't get in the program, but I did after all. Before receiving my letter, I actually emailed the nursing department...but then they don't tell you if you got in or not...they will just tell you to wait for the letter to come. I live in Daly City, and I received my letter on Tuesday, I believe. They mailed it out on Monday. So if you live around the area, you should receive your letter really really soon.
Nothing's final till you get your letter. I learned my lesson. Haha. :) Good luck!
