Hey All

I haven't yet seen a forum for this cohort yet and I wanted to start one! Applications are due soon and wanted to see how others are going along with the process and see if theres any advice or recommendations that anyone has. This could be with the application, interviews, pre-reqs, HESI, etc. I appreciate those who comment and add to the forum!

A little about me: originally from NYC moved out to Oakland in 2015. I worked in Urgent Care, and have volunteer work during Covid-19. Finishing up a few pre-reqs now and hopefully will have them done in time for the application due date Dec 1st. Let me know if there are any other questions for me, I am very interested to see the backgrounds of others who are also applying, its a stressful but exciting time for everyone! ?

My friend and I both interviewed on the 22nd and she received her acceptance and I still have yet to receive anything ?

Hi Everyone!

I finally received my acceptance letter for the CM program!! Congrats to all of us who received our acceptance letters and good luck to those still waiting! 
 

I will be looking for that facebook group for our Fall 2021 cohort. If there are any other platforms of communication aside from FB, please let me know!! Thank you ?

Congrats! I just wanna sya to everyone still waiting to hear back, I emailed Anne a couple days ago after the first wave of decisions and she said that, basically, not all of them have been sent out yet! Have hope, there might still be good news coming!

Thanks for letting us know! Did she specify that not all acceptances have been sent out, or that not all decisions have been sent out? Just wondering if those who have not heard back can still be hoping for an acceptance or if it’s only waitlist/denials at this point.

 

Sending everyone who’s still waiting good vibes! Our anxieties will be over soon ?

Thanks for this comment! I’m also wondering if she’s talking about not all acceptances being sent out or should everyone else expect a rejection/waitlist email.

I think not all the decisions have been sent out. I looked at previous cohorts FB groups and many had roughly 50, versus the one currently only has 19. Based on what people have said so far, and the fact not all decisions have gone out, would hazard a guess than likely not all acceptances have gone out either.

Yea I really don't think they are done so don't lose hope! They might be seeing how many people accept the offer and then send out more in batches.

Hello,  I just received my waitlist letter via email. Did anyone else?? 
I did also apply to SeattleU for their APNI- DNP program and a few accelerated MSN programs for non-nursing majors.

Hi there! I received a waitlist email letter as well, I am number 8 and I am wondering what my odds are of making it in considering there are only like 24? spots available.
