  1. WOW I didn't know that was possible, I am sorry to hear! thank you for adding some perspective. I think I'll see if I can move forward with other offers in that case.
  2. interesting... did you get a rejection from UCDMC after references? or just silence, because they got back to me with an offer 2 weeks later (actually today).
  3. I want to say that it is basically ours! unless our references talk bad! mine is adult surgical: adult acute care at mt. zion
  4. I'll share a bit about how my third interview went, not to give anyone an unfair advantage but more so to ease any anxieties. My third round was more of the same -who are you/why UCSF/why this unit, along with 4 more very ...generic questions if you will. They also proceeded to freestyle about 3 more questions. If you feel like prepping look up generic questions/themes and come up with a scenario for each as well as things you learned from them.. Find a friend to talk to through each, and reheorifice what you might say. And lastly, it sounds generic to say but...BE YOURSELF - don't be afraid to say/ask something that may indicate that you don't know something ... YOU ARE A NEW GRAD NURSE ofc you don't know much. I don't know if this will be of any use --this is just what helped me prep and it may help you.
  5. I have an interview tomorrow with Mt Zion Adult Acute Care
  6. Hello all, joining this thread kinda late. I thought they were done giving interviews so I had moved on. But just yesterday I received an interview invite ... nearly 5 months after applying. So if any of you are still "routed for further consideration" or whatever the portal says on your app. There is still hope! Btw...if anyone wants to forward any interview tips, I would really appreciate it:)
  7. If this is anything like the ABSN program, they might have to send you your login information. Once you have that you can login to you MY SMU and find what you need. Anyways, what number were you on the waitlist?
  8. WOW congrats!! I was number 8 so I'm probably number #3. I already accepted their ABSN program so I don't know how that would work out if I got in! lmao kind of hoping they don't complicate my life like that.
  9. Has anyone gotten off the waitlist? or heard any updates about their place in the waitlist?
  10. Is there a facebook group for students admitted into the San Francisco Peninsula location? I'm dying to meet people in my cohort ?
  11. Totally unrelated but did anyone apply to the ABSN program in oakland? I haven't heard back and the program is set to start in may
  12. @Jack Robins @n_papril Thank you for sharing! I was wondering because I ended up reapplying to the Oakland program and made it their waitlist this time at #8. Based on this cohort, it looks like only about 3 people made it in. So I am not feeling too hopeful, but still determined to reapply if necessary! Anyways good luck to you both!
  13. @Jack Robins @n_papril Hi there! I never heard if either of you ended up making it in. Care to share?
  14. @FitM it was written 8.0, It's unusual. But didn't think much of it. Also, FYI to everyone. I followed the last forum for the Sacramento program and only 5 people made it in. Someone on there had mentioned that historically only 5 people make it in. So I guess it is pretty accurate.
  15. Hi there! I received a waitlist email letter as well, I am number 8 and I am wondering what my odds are of making it in considering there are only like 24? spots available.
