Already been in nursing school- Dropped OUT- UGH, why????? *I digress...
*Received a degree from Sac State already, Cum Laude
Science G.P.A.= 3.4
Overall G.P.A. = 3.5
Teas= 84.1
1 year of healthcare experience
1 year of nursing school experience
Multiple community involvement experiences- ERG's, Volunteer on Diversity teams, Church, internships, mentoring, tutoring
*Hoping that this may be the year because I'm going no where fast in my current job field and I want to return to a profession that I have a passion for and am good at!!
I emailed ------ in Sacramento and told her that I am choosing the master's case management, so that will open up a slot for someone in the ABSN program.
Hi cerobbin! Thanks for the update. It seems to me that most probably You must be the next person on their list i.e why u got an e-mail but i didn't get any update so far. it makes me nervous but anyways my best wishes for u! right now we are all sailing in same boat!!!!!!!!!!!
When I emailed Sacramento, I learned the reason I did not receive an email saying my application was received is because it was reviewed when I applied for the ELMSN program. So if you also applied for the ELMSN, then that might be the case. Best of luck to us both! :-)
ahhh, the wait is driving me crazy!!! I applied for the ABSN San Mateo cohort and was told that they were anticipating that decisions will be made by mid-October!!!! Anyone esle also going crazy, lol??? My life is on hold because of this!
I know All U guys are going through the same pain....waiting, waiting!!!! then U want to forget about it and concentrate on something else but weird thing is.......Waiting is painful. Forgetting is painful. But not knowing which to do is the worse kind of suffering. I don't know why Sa can't issue list of all qualified applicants on the same day and releived all of us from this waiting!!!!!!!!!
I'm less anxious about this program than I was about the ELMSN program. I don't know why, but I think it has to do with the interview, I think I had more to analyze and dwell on. With this program it's all about how you look on paper to them and there is nothing I can really do about making that any better, so Ka Sera Sera
ilnurse15 - I'm less anxious about this program than ELMSN, too, but still anxious nonetheless. The wait after the interview was absolute torture! Now I'm waitlisted for ELMSN, and waiting to hear back about ABSN.
I spoke briefly with ------ yesterday, and she said that about 2/3 of the accepted ABSN applicants, have already been notified. The rest will be notified this week through next week, so I guess some of us still have another week to wait. I can't wait to know so I can stop feeling like I'm stuck in place. Thanks for the update! I'm one of the waiters! Also, just out of curiosity, is there anyone on this forum (who is reading this and cares to share of course) who is waitlisted for the ELMSN CM or ELMSN FNP and has received a call of acceptance to the ABSN program?
