Hi everyone- I wanted to start a thread for those of us who have become accustomed to living on the edge of our seats, who would like some moral support, and who applied/ will apply for Sac States BSN program for Spring 2022. Anyone know the point cutoff for the last class? Did they end up taking 80 students? How many points do you have?

Just wondering, were you instructed to choose Health Science as your major upon applying? Does it prompt you to change it during transfer orientation?
Otherwise, I believe once you are selected, the system will automatically enroll you into the nursing courses and list your major as Nursing. You can always double check by e-mailing Heidi or call the registrar.

As far as I know, we have to wear the CSUS scrubs so that they can identify us. I would probably wait for instructions.
Congratulations to everybody accepted to Sac State's program! I'm currently in 1st semester and the CNSA (Nursing Student Association) just announced an apparel sale which will run until December 5th. The items won't be here in time for Christmas, but hopefully before the start of next semester. If you're looking for some apparel (not uniforms, you buy those from a specific website with a specific group ID) I'd recommend ordering now, to have it delivered to you ASAP. If you wait until another apparel sale after the start of the semester it may be a while before you get it. This is the first time they've done an apparel sale where the items are ordered and shipped directly to the students.
Here is the link to order in case you haven't already received the info: https://stores.kotisdesign.com/ky1ju7wj6n/products?fbclid=IwAR0xMfAIpUQBhb87mn3mpuGhjpB1C44W6P4amzSO2lcSXp_J2ofPNIS4L0w

Hi, don't order the Figs. You will have a limited list of options from a specific website you will order from. I believe there are two top options, three bottom options (one is a skirt) for women. They take a while to be embroidered and delivered so order as soon as you get the info. You will also need two pairs of all white or all black shoes (one for lab, and one for clinicals). I didn't realize that and only bought one pair, so I had to go out and get another.

They haven't instructed us to anything yet but I do believe you can schedule your physical in advance now if you'd like. From what I know, you will need to have all your immunizations and there will be a drug and background check. You could probably find more information on the program page: https://www.csus.edu/college/health-human-services/nursing/traditional.html
