Hi everyone- I wanted to start a thread for those of us who have become accustomed to living on the edge of our seats, who would like some moral support, and who applied/ will apply for Sac States BSN program for Spring 2022. Anyone know the point cutoff for the last class? Did they end up taking 80 students? How many points do you have?

Does anyone know if we will get set up with a mentor-another nursing student that’s maybe a year ahead who can help us if we have any questions or need some guidance? I know other programs do this and I’ve heard it’s very helpful, especially in the first semester.
They will ask you if you want to participate and then will match you with a mentor who will reach out to you

Hello all,
I have some questions about the drug test. I see that the test ordered is a 10-panel drug + alcohol screen and I'm not sure what this entails. Should I refrain from drinking before the test? If they detect any alcohol in my system (trace amounts from, let's say, the night before), will this result in disqualification from the program? I'm not familiar with being screened for alcohol and I'm very anxious...

Hey!(: I got my test done last week and they do check for alcohol, I’m not sure if that would disqualify you but I wouldn’t take any chances!
