Hi everyone- I wanted to start a thread for those of us who have become accustomed to living on the edge of our seats, who would like some moral support, and who applied/ will apply for Sac States BSN program for Spring 2022. Anyone know the point cutoff for the last class? Did they end up taking 80 students? How many points do you have?

Hi, just started last week. I heard some people got in off the waitlist with 72 points. I believe they ended up taking almost 30 people from the waitlist. We have 80 students in our cohort. Good Luck to you!

Thanks for the info! And congratulations getting in!
I have a 4.0, 89.3% on the TEAS, and 11 optional points for a total of 69 soooo I’m thinkin not. Geez. I know ASL because I have a deaf parent but they won’t let me count the language points because I didn’t take college ASL.

Congrats on starting the program! Can I ask how many points you had? I currently have 74, I was thinking about retaking the TEAS to get a higher score but I spoke to ------------------------------ and she said 74 was a pretty comfortable position to be in. So, she told me it's ultimately up to me but she didn't feel it was necessary to try to get a higher TEAS score.

I have 71 points and am hoping for the best (can't get anymore unless I join the military LOL). I was 41 on the waitlist for Fall 2021. Good luck everyone!

Hi! I got my acceptance letter from the school and I did my intent to enroll. I assume that if we get into the program, the major would just automatically change from Health Sciences to Nursing. And I wanted to do the intent to enroll portion ahead of time because I didn't want to worry about forgetting LOL

Ahh okay! I was conflicted on whether or not I should do intent to enroll because then we would have to do the transfer mandatory orientation in Nov, but that costs money to reserve a date for the orientation, and I didn't want to spend money until I had gotten the results from the other schools since it could go to waste ? but I guess I'll just do do it LOL

Yeah, even if I don't get into the program, I'm planning on going to Sac State anyways but if your plan B is another university then probably wait until after decisions for the nursing school go out but IDK. I haven't planned that far ahead yet bc I've been so panicked about getting into the program at all haha
