  1. Hi guys, I don’t see many people posting in the facebook group so I figured I’d post here. Does anyone know if we will get set up with a mentor-another nursing student that’s maybe a year ahead who can help us if we have any questions or need some guidance? I know other programs do this and I’ve heard it’s very helpful, especially in the first semester.
  2. I heard Hokas are extremely comfortable! Are they the right kind of fabric? I work as a medical assistant right now and just wear black nikes, but I’m not sure if that type of fabric works.
  3. Hey guys, do you know what the options are for our scrubs? Are we allowed to order our own scrubs as long as they are green? If so, FIGS is having a sale right now and all scrubs are 20% off.
  4. Hey guys, I'm #5 on the wl and hoping I get in!! I'd like to prepare just in case. For those of you that got in, do you have to get a full physical with doctors clearance in addition to all the immunizations that are required? Also, do you have to do a drug test/background test? If someone could send me this info I'd really appreciate it.
  5. Thank you! Based on all the previous cycles they got to number 5. I’m praying it’s the same this time!!
  6. I was told the cutoff was 73 before everyone’s points were verified. Person that ranked 81 also had 73 points, then 82-100 had 72 points.
  7. I saw the big jump in the cutoff points! It was consistently around 67 for a long time! Once Covid hit that all changed. I think it’s just due to schools not accepting applications for a while so maybe the cutoff will go back down. You got in right? Do you mind sharing your point breakdown?
  8. Do you mind if I ask what number you are on the WL?
  9. Thanks for sharing your info! I have 72 points and am waitlist #5 ? Here are my scores: -4.0 non-adjusted -93.3 TEAS -no omits -first generation -healthcare experience The extra points section really helps people out, I’m bummed I didn’t qualify for more because I feel like my other stats are really strong. The tiebreakers are 1. Unadjusted GPA 2. #repeats 3. TEAS score 4. Military experience
  10. That’s odd because a lot of schools are still announcing if people got in. So I’d imagine there are probably some people that will decline admission once they find out they got into another school.
  11. It was 73 again. I spoke with Heidi a few weeks ago and she said based off unverified scores that 73 was the cutoff. The person that ranked 81 had 73 points and 82-100 I think had 72 points. I have 72 points and I am #5 on the waitlist. I’m hoping I get in!! ????
  12. Wow, that’s the highest I have seen someone score on the TEAS! Way to go!!
  13. Awesome! What school are you going to? Do you mind sharing how many points you had for Sac State?
