  1. So far they haven't really told us much, they said the onboarding info will be available when they add us to the Canvas page (not sure when). They just said to schedule a physical with your doctor now/as soon as possible to prevent getting an appointment that's too late
  2. Yeah I called them and they said if you aren't enrolling in any other courses you need like co-requisites you don't need to do anything! They said it might be until Dec or even the beginning of Jan. though, which makes me wish we had earlier notice of our schedules tbh.
  3. So the department chooses our classes for us right? So if all the classes we need to take for next semester are Nursing courses and we don't need anything else, we don't need to enroll in anything ourselves?
  4. Does anyone know how soon after admissions are released that people will know their schedules? I know being accepted is the 1st step I should be thinking about LOL but I'm wondering how many days per week we'd need to be on campus because of commuting/living situations.
  5. Thanks! I was a little worried that the Nov. 5th 5 pm deadline applied to both paying the deposit + accepting the admission to the university on our student center, but I think it was only for the fee so hopefully I’m good (I accepted it at like 9 PM LOL). I emailed admissions just in case, but I know I won’t hear back until Monday. I’m really hoping for Sac, I have 74 points and I already go there so if I do get in I’m immediately freeing up my spot at Stan :)
  6. So I called the Nursing dept after getting an acceptance email because I'm a transfer student waiting on Sac State still. They said it's fine if I don't pay the enrollment deposit by the 5th since I'm not sure if I'm attending Stan but to accept the position in the program by the 17th and rescind it if I hear back from Sac. I'm a little paranoid though that I'll have issues w/ the university though because I'm missing this deadline. I also accepted my admission on my student center today but it wasn't before 5 PM- does anyone know if this will be an issue??
  7. Hello Congrats on starting the program! Can I ask how many points you had? I currently have 74, I was thinking about retaking the TEAS to get a higher score but I spoke to ------------------------------ and she said 74 was a pretty comfortable position to be in. So, she told me it's ultimately up to me but she didn't feel it was necessary to try to get a higher TEAS score.
