SAC nursing program fall 2011

Has anyone been accepted to SAC Nursing Program (Fall2011) already? If so, post so we can wait together. So nervous.. I already applied and I am waiting to see If I have been accepted...I did look up threads about SAC and I have read its pros and cons..Good luck to everyone.

Ok so all I need is to redo my TB skin test and flu shot which I will do tomorrow. Then I just have to wait for that post card in the mail. For those of you who need your flu shot the metrohealth clinic downtown is doing them for free right now

howdy, ya it was a minor traffic violation that escalated into a pain in my rear end, in AZ back in 07... good'ol AZ!

..my friend has not gone down there yet to check on status since he had been there several times before the letters went out. Wish we knew what the hold up was though.

BioBr8kn - I see what you mean..about your friend that kept going down there..so maybe he feels that he went down there too many times before...but this is kinda different now, he's gonna need to know what to do for Fall. Did he have all the prereq's done when he applied?

..have you heard back from the school about if you are going to have to do the fingerprint process again...even though you've previously gotten the "good to go"? ..it may come down to how much time has passed since then.

..what about the required student health insurance? has anybody gone through the link SAC gives for that? I talked to them last week & they said to check back this week, but I figure..there is no rush to do that..since it can be done online very quickly, and since we are waiting for a blue card via snail mail anyway.

..all these little expenses to get this done are chipping away at my already small bank acount...ugh:crying2:

I have private health insurance so I don't have to worry about getting the student one, but I know what you mean about the little expenses,,,they are quickly adding up on me!

I went by the school yesterday and I was told the hospital orientation exam is next week!

5/24 at 3 pm

5/25 at 9 am

5/26 at 12 pm

Hi everyone, I'm sorry if I haven't logged in. I currently don't have a computer. I'm using my phone. I will be going today to turn in paper work. I was told that we can turn in our paper work with out the blue BON postcard. It will still be incomplete, but they will accepted. As soon as we receive the BON results, we turn it in. ..thanks for the info on this, ...it makes sense that we could turn our packet into without the post card from BON...since the wait time for that (from what I read) is somewhat unpredictable, and varies from person to person.

...it would be nice though...if we could all get the same info:idea:, instead of each getting some bits here and there and sharing between us...lol.

..anyone besides me been checking mailbox everday in anticipation of a lil' blue postcard? ..I even sift through all the junk ads making sure it hasn't slipped between something.

..anyone else wonder why that info is sent via snail mail...rather than electronically to either us or school? ....hhhmmmm:yawn:

went to turn in my packet today around 5:15 pm... our checklist said they accept them till 6 pm.. NOPE... before 5 pm.. AND they are closed tomorrow. {{sighhh}}

Did anyone receive their postcards back from the BON? I did mine on the Monday of finals and I still haven't heard anything. That is the only thing holding up my packet. Also I missed the orientation quiz today. They guy I talked to on the phone said they are having one in August. I am going to wait. I totally forgot and didn't check the dates until today. Why would they send out the acceptance letters late and expect us to scramble to get this done in a month?

I did my fingerprinting two weeks ago and still have not received my postcard, that is also the only thing holding up my packet. The hospital orientation quiz was actually really easy I took it today

I'm in the same boat. I still haven't received my blue postcard. I do hope we get it soon. Its the only item I need too. Has anyone called to see how much longer? I'm thinking of calling tomorrow. It is out of our hands and they better not hold it against us if not turned in by June 1st. Will keep you guys posted and keep us posted too..good luck to everyone..
