I won't be able to. I'm in a nursing program now and have classes until Dec 19-20. I also have to find a place to live - I'm from the Syracuse, NY region. Is there an orientation? First day of class? I don't see an academic calendar for the stratford campus anywhere online.

There is an orientation day, I believe it's Monday, Dec 2 for Stratford. I'm not sure when classes actually begin, I am assuming they will keep us updated as we send in our acceptance checks. I also think that the first Monday in November is the start of registration. I just kind of played around on the site until I found the little calendar, although I am sure the dates could possibly change.

I STILL haven't received anything saying yey or ney for me!! I'm literally stalking my email and mailbox!! Do you think they stopped accepting to Newark??

hey newark candidates, umdnj still hasn't taken my deposit and im worried my letter might have been lost in the mail. has anyone heard back from them about orientation, TEAS, or NALC?

I called a few days ago and they were extremely nice on the phone. She was able to see my check was received but it takes time for them to deposit it. We should be receiving more information within the next two weeks about the dates but she said it wasn't ready yet for Newark.

I also called about my deposit. The lady on the phone was able to see that they received my check. She also said that the person in charge of handling the deposits was out for a week so they were a little behind on sending out the information on orientation and the TEAS. She said we should receive it sometime next week though!

Hey guys my name is Julie. I applied for the accelerated program for spring 2014 and I recieved an email saying they would like to interview me. I was wondering if anyone has been interviewed and what kind of questions were asked. I am very nervous for this interview.

hey @Jszafr2, this is the first im hearing about interviews. sorry i cant help.

i went to their info session today. it looks like incoming newark class is about 60-65 students. i would assume the same for stratford. the admissions lady also said the same thing about how their deposit lady was on vacation so it would take some time, but still no dates for NALC or TEAS.

Hello Jszafr2, this is also the first time I have heard about any kind of interview... I just got my acceptance letter in the mail, I didn't have to interview. Maybe they do this towards the end of the acceptance periods if there are students who have about the same credentials? Best of luck with everything, I'm sure you will do great!

Newark orientation scheduled for December 5! :) excited!

Just emailed the enrollment team and they said TEAS/NALC info should be going out today. Please let me know if you guys find out anything beforehand.

hey! sorry I never emailed you back...I got the info yesterday on TEAS and NALC via email. there are 2 dates to register for TEAS, November 12th or the 19th...its 10-5pm, I'm not sure if that's including time to go get our IDs and other stuff but she said it takes the entire day. The info packet has everything we need to know and do before orientation.

They also send NACL info, but still no exact dates. From what she said, its 7-9 days ( I think consecutively) from about 9-3:30. I really want to do it, but I need to know the dates!

If anyone finds out the exact dates of NACL can they post them??

Also, I'm still wondering if anyone is planning on living on/near campus at all. Message me if you are :)
