New member here. Just got my acceptance letter in the mail today (Newark campus). Thought I'd start a thread to get the conversation flowing. Anybody else waiting?

Hey everyone, I feel like I haven't heard anything about Stratford campus yet, I am down in South Jersey and I am waiting to hear from them... has anyone heard from Stratford or heard about anyone getting accepted to that campus yet? I know they are probably waiting for more RU graduates to apply there to make decisions, but I'm getting anxious to know if I got accepted or not. :(

@Nsxgurlie22, sorry to hear that :sniff:. did you try calling them to see where they're at with admissions? Just from this thread alone it seems like Newark is getting their letters first.

To all other Newark students, I just called the program and it looks like TEAS and NALC dates are still in the air. If you guys hear anything else, let us know!

To existing Newark students, did you guys start class on the first day back in January, or the first full week back? Their academic calendar for Spring 2013 shows first full week back, but just wanted to be sure. Any insight would be great!

I GOT IN! I guess I'll be the first to comment for Stratford. :laugh: Congrats to everyone so far, I can't wait to start this new journey in life and to be a part of the Rutgers family.

beckeroo222, I also was accepted to the Newark campus and live in Hillsborough, NJ. I was looking into boarding but its so expensive! Taking the train may be a good idea, but can you let me know about any off campus housing you may find? Have you received any information about financial aid?

wow what a coincidence we both live in hillsborough! boarding is expensive, I'm just trying to think about how I will succeed best. I'm thinking about going into the first semester commuting and if its terrible, I will make the sacrifice and board. Can you private message me your phone number/facebook info? It's so great to have someone who lives so close in the same program!

I received a letter from the financial aid office with instructions on applying for aid, but from what I have heard its mostly loans because it is a second degree. I will let you know if they get back to me.

I just got my acceptance letter in the mail today for Spring 2014, Stratford campus. My NCAS application was verified and submitted back in July so huuuuge sigh of relief I finally heard from Rutgers. My undergrad is in Music Industry but I went back to school to get all the prereqs done. Congrats to all those who heard back.
