Georgetown ABSN Spring 2014
I'm looking at Glover Park, that is where my friends have lived for years when they went to Georgetown and then to American. Also looking at the area around American U and the cathedral. Also looking at Arlington - as close to Rosslyn as possible since you can walk right over Key Bridge or take the GUTS bus to campus. I'll have my car, a lot of DC is zone parking so if you don't switch your tags, you'll run into parking issues. Public transportation in DC is great though.

Georgetown ABSN Spring 2014
I'm definitely accepting. I've come to terms that it will be the most expensive thing I've done in my life so far but after doing the math of going through an Associates to a RN-BSN....I've figured I'll be spending about the same money and that route takes waayyyy longer. So long as I can qualify for the loans and hopefully part of the nursing scholarship they are offering - I'm there. I've started the apartment search already. I live in upstate NY and it's about an 8 hr drive down. I'm in a ASN program now and my semester doesn't end until Dec. 20th so I'll be cutting it close.

Georgetown ABSN Spring 2014
I had a few friends that went to Georgetown for their undergrad and then stayed in the neighborhood. I visited a lot so I suppose it was exposure. Every time I stepped foot onto campus I just knew that it was the school for me. Overall, their nursing program has everything I want in my education.

Georgetown ABSN Spring 2014
I've heard that it could be late Oct to early Nov for admissions decisions from Georgetown. Eek. It's my first choice school but with only 20 spots available, it's necessary to have a back up. So I'll be feeling stuck between a rock and a hard place if we don't find out by Friday. Anyway, I understood that the decisions would be released by the end of this week. The other school I'd be going to if I didn't get in would be Rutgers University. They want their deposit no later than Oct 23 since they do rolling admissions and I was accepted in the first wave. With only 20 spots in the Georgetown program it's necessary to have a back up but I didn't realize Rutgers wouldn't give me more time. That's what I get for applying way before the deadline!

I did the webinar and a lot of the information were things I already heard. I visited the school earlier this year and got a tour of the program. The scholarship is new. I'm glad they were able to secure that since the scholar's program is done. I really hope we get our decision by next week. Georgetown is my #1 choice but my back up schools want deposits and I'm trying to hold off. I wish everyone the best of luck!

I just got my acceptance letter in the mail today for Spring 2014, Stratford campus. My NCAS application was verified and submitted back in July so huuuuge sigh of relief I finally heard from Rutgers. My undergrad is in Music Industry but I went back to school to get all the prereqs done. Congrats to all those who heard back. Eva- Georgetown ABSN Spring 2014

I am impatiently counting down to October as well! I just need to know so I can plan already. Thankfully I didn't have any issues with NursingCAS. My application was verified in the middle of July. Have any of you sent in financial aid forms? The application guide says to do that in September which is well before we'd find out. It's a big test of patience. Ahhh!- UMDNJ Accelerated BSN Summer 2013
I have applied for the ABSN at the Stratford campus for Spring 2014....I knew there were changes but I had no idea about how much really changed as far as pre-reqs. I put in my application through NursingCAS in late July! - Rutgers (formerly UMDNJ) ABSN Spring 2014
