ROSEMAN ABSN Summer 2021

Hi all! I couldn't find any threads for Roseman's July 2021 cohort so thought I would start one. I am from California and applying to the Henderson NV campus. I know applications don't open until December 1st, but thought I would get a jump on this since many of us are getting application stuff together. Feel free to share stats, advice, or anything else!

That is the day you re-take the test if someone does not meet the passing requirement.

 

I am not 100 sure how it works, but I believe those yellow days are extra break days if pass the tests at once ?

Those are just the numbers of block .  The 18months program is divided into blocks.  Total is 15 and you have to pass the test at the end of each block to continue the next block.

To piggy back off of what everyone else has said, they will explain in great detail how remediation works with an hour powerpoint before the interview. I took notes and it helped a lot!

It could be because some people didn’t pass the prerequisites they were already taking. Also could be because they didn’t I have the financial ability to start. Not sure. But it’s great for you! Ace that interview. Some people applied for the ABSN but got offered BSN

@Vee0323 why would the school offer for BSN when the student has specifically applied for ABSN which suits his/her needs? Thats odd.

Sorry to butt in but this happens if the ABSN cohort they applied for is full and the student doesn't want to be put on a waitlist. This is what happened in my case cause I was offered a guaranteed seat in the BSN cohort for August. (Given they only gave me two days to decide if I wanted to switch or not but me getting an answer for the ABSN cohort was gonna be two weeks)

I applied for the ABSN but took their offer of switching to the BSN cause I didn't wanna wait for a seat to open and I didn't have a guaranteed seat. At this point, I didn't really care which one I got into since their programs are the same anyway LOL. (Also the BSN track is a bit cheaper than the ABSN)
