  1. You don’t need to! I drive about an hour a day to and from school and it’s not that bad
  2. Congrats! We’re gonna be in the same cohort :) if wanna chat, feel free to follow me on ig: chocomilkcereal
  3. Hi! I haven't gotten anything regarding this. I'm guessing it's only for the June cohort? I'm in the August one!
  4. Hi! We’re gonna be in the same cohort ?
  5. Thank you! No, it's 18 months! 2 months longer than the ABSN.
  6. I applied for the ABSN but took their offer of switching to the BSN cause I didn't wanna wait for a seat to open and I didn't have a guaranteed seat. At this point, I didn't really care which one I got into since their programs are the same anyway LOL. (Also the BSN track is a bit cheaper than the ABSN)
  7. Sorry to butt in but this happens if the ABSN cohort they applied for is full and the student doesn't want to be put on a waitlist. This is what happened in my case cause I was offered a guaranteed seat in the BSN cohort for August. (Given they only gave me two days to decide if I wanted to switch or not but me getting an answer for the ABSN cohort was gonna be two weeks)
  8. I’m guessing Henderson is popular since it is closer to California compared to Utah and campus close to the Las Vegas Strip as well. I personally wanted Henderson since I already live in Las Vegas so there was no point in me moving.
  9. Hello! Seats usually open up if someone declines their offer if they don’t want the location they got accepted to. For example, someone wanted Henderson but they got into South Jordan. Another reason could be is that they didn’t accept their offer in time or pay the seating fee which reserves your seat into the program. Hope this helps!
  10. Hello! For anyone that has any possible questions, feel free to email me at [email protected] ? I should've left my email with my ig handle so that's my fault LOL
  11. No problem!! If you or anyone else have questions, feel free to message me on here or on Instagram, @chocomilkceeal (if you have one) cause I don't check this as often
  12. Hello! So I was emailed at the end of February (2 weeks after my interview, Feb 25/26), and at the time it was full and I was given the option to wait it out for a spot in June or get a guaranteed seat in August cohort. I just chose to switch because I wasn't sure if I was going to end up at the South Jordan campus and I wanted Henderson since I already live in Las Vegas. They only gave me 2 days to decide (until March 1) if I wanted to switch cohorts but if I wanted to wait it out, I would have to wait until March 15. During that time, I'm assuming people could decline their offers which is why I would have had to wait like 2 more weeks. I know seats mostly fill up in Henderson first and South Jordan would be the last to fill up.
  13. So quick storytime, I actually applied last year in May for the June 2020 start but I had a feeling it was too late for me to get in. I didn't get an interview for that but I did roll over to October 2020 one but I heard that one was hard to get into as well cause of people who didn't get an interview for Feb/June rollover. I didn't get an interview for that one as well. I'm guessing it was my grades and TEAS but I just reapplied again anyway. I reapplied back at the beginning of January this year for the June 2021 start. I had a friend who got his interview invite right away for January (he applied in December) and he got in. He found out he was accepted Feb 1 and I got my invite on Feb 2/3 for the June 2021 start but I was chosen as an "Alternate Candidate" cause seats were full for June so they gave me a choice of switching to August or waiting for a seat to open up in June. I chose to switch to August. (Sorry for rambling LOL)
  14. Hello! I have a quick question, what shoes would you recommend for clinical? I've heard that you had to wear all white but there are so many to choose from!
  15. Hello and Congrats!! I have a random question but for clinical, what type of shoe would you recommend getting? I was told we had to wear all white ones but there are so many to choose from!
