ROSEMAN ABSN Summer 2021

Published

Hi all! I couldn't find any threads for Roseman's July 2021 cohort so thought I would start one. I am from California and applying to the Henderson NV campus. I know applications don't open until December 1st, but thought I would get a jump on this since many of us are getting application stuff together. Feel free to share stats, advice, or anything else!

Hi! I’m applying to the South Jordan campus and I’m also from California!  ? can we share stats?

GPA: 3.5, prerequisites GPA: 3.8, and TEAS I’m going to retake because I got a 70%! Hahah, I also already have my bachelors in biology-physiology and 3,000 hours of patient care hours as a medical assistant and an ER scribe! So excited and scared about the application process!

Hey! Fellow Californian! I'm so excited and anxious to get the process started to apply. Here are my stats:

Last 60 credits GPA: 3.9
Pre-req GPA: 4.0 (Microbio is currently in progress- this is assuming I pull an A)
TEAS: 77.3 on first attempt. I am also going to retake
Have a bachelors in Communication Studies and previous healthcare experience in admin and also as assistant taking vitals/helping with PT patients.
I'm not sure how much they take into account healthcare experience/hands on experience. I'm not sure what else I'm missing but right now my main concern is the TEAS ?

Oh wow nice ?!! I have no idea if they care about any hours or anything either. I am currently applying to MSN programs as well! I’m worried about the TEAS too! But they told me that they take the highest score from each section from every attempt! So I really hope we can reach that 80%!! ?

I am applying to Summer 2021 as well. I think it's great they do that type of scoring for the TEAS! Out of curiosity, which MSN programs are you considering? Have you applied to them already or planning to?

Are you applying to any other ABSN programs in california? I know they're super competitive so I'm hoping for roseman, but also applying to sfsu where I went for undergrad

I’m from California too ! I have a 4.0 and an 86% on the TEAS. I’m graduating with my degree in May, but they said I could still apply for Summer.

Has anyone applied yet ? My advisor said we would hear back before Christmas break or the first week of July.
