Hello to everyone. I am 33 years old. I have been an LPN for 5 years. I am currently enrolled in an LPN to BSN program. I attend classes 1 night a week. I am in the 3rd semester. It will take 3 years. I have gone a whole year...only 2 left. I am sure there are faster programs out there, but the 1 night a week thing works out really well for me because I have to work and have 3 children I am home schooling. So, I am currrently in Psychology-Life Span and Human Development and Philosophy. We do 2 classes each semester. Next semester starts A&P, I believe....Best wishes to everyone!:smiley_aa

Hello everybody!

I've been an LPN for 5 years now, started the diploma RN program at my hospital this August! I work in the ER where I plan to work as an RN.

hey everybody, I graduate in 3 days from an lpn 2 rn bridge program I've been an lpn for 15 years, it will be nice to get the respect and pay that I deserve.

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.

I completed an LVN program in October 2005 and my NCLEX examination is scheduled for late December. If all goes well, I definitely plan to complete an LVN-to-RN bridge program that is not as costly as the LVN course.

Hi, I am 43 yrs old. I have 3 children, ages 20 to 11 yrs old. I have been an LPN for 18 yrs and have tried unsuccessfully to leave nursing. Well I finally decided to go for my RN. I start classes for pre-nursing requirements in Jan. '06.

I am an lpn interested in going back to school to get my BS. I was wondering is it really possible to do all that online? What online nursing course is good and widely recognized if any? Need some help getting started!

I guess you can do it online for all the courses. But the clinical is what will be hard to do. The College Network is a good place to go if you want to do online. Most of it is challenge tests and studying workbooks.

I am getting my associated nursing degree at the local community college.

Worked for about a year in ER and Med-Surg, will be attending local community college next fall for my RN. cant wait. took time off to get more patient contact and to take a few classes for my BSN.

Hi everyone,

I'm 30 years old and I've been an LPN for 2 1/2 years now, (my how time has flown by.) I'm currently enrolled in Excelsior College although I've only completed one exam so far in one year, I just keep putting it off. I need a swift kick in the rear. LOL

Anywho, I'm married with an 11 year old son and currently work in sub acute rehab as a full time night nurse. My goal is to get my RN so I can work in the ER. I've been in the ER as a tech for 5 years and I absolutely love it.
