Next on the list is Leadership in Nursing, who's in?

This is exactly how I've managed for previous assignments, for some reason these particular discussion posts just seem much more daunting. I guess, for me, it seems more difficult because I don't have any working experience as a nurse and what (very little) we discussed on Joint Commission is school has long since left my memory. So I just don't feel like I even have a starting point or any personal experience to add to the information I find in the book or other sources. I totally acknowledge that I'm just having a pity party for myself and I just need to get it done.

I hear ya...this is my LAST class...so I am just over it already. I have figured out...how to figure it out I guess. Some DB's are easy to come up with the answers...this week not so much. If you are not working at all...it would seem daunting as you say. You have a right to feel overwhelmed by this. I am still trying to figure out what to do about the "budget" interview! I learned to use the CINHAL database...that is very helpful at the OU online library.

They really did need to have a contingency plan for people who are NOT currently or ever were employed as nurses. I agree completely.

me too, i am almost obsessed with checking for grades now. I wish they would just send an email when the grades are posted

Curious, I got 16/15 on my test. For everyone that is looking for feedback on the test, if you click on the score it gives you the feedback. Hoping this is not a mistake because I love the extra point.

I do the same thing. I keep checking on it and keep getting no results.

OMG! I'm so burned out on writing. Submitted second DB post, now just need to do my replies for both..ugh. Still have a reading memo for business comm. class. ugh.

Just finished last mod 3 assignment! 2 more weeks to go. We can do this! I think Evidence-based practice was more stressful than Leadership. Anybody taking Business communication or Intro to Ethics in the summer?

Still no grade on the paper for week 2. This is my last two weeks forever and then I am done. I have short timer mentality now.

I agree EBP was more stressful than this class. This class is still a lot of work though.

I have a question for the people that have taken EBP. How much statistics is included in that class and will I be able to pass it since I took statistics back in 1994 and don't remember a thing. They gave me the transfer credit for statistics but I am wondering if I should take it again since it has been so long.

I had to chuckle when I read your post. I took statistics way back in the 80's and also received transfer credit. I got an A in EBP. There are 2 assignments that you can take multiple times to get full credit and boost your grade. It was stressful because the instructions were so vague. Use study guides and evolve site to study for quizzes. It's doable and only lasts for 5 weeks.

Frills, that is awesome. I really didn't want to take again. I do remember not enjoying it the first time.
