  1. And that's a wrap! what a relief
  2. Thank you, I will check with my advisor. I would love to be over this sooner!
  3. Did you already take NRSG 4600? I was under the impression that we had to take 4600 last and other classes could be taken in any order. The reason I ask is because I can finish the program sooner if I can take 4600 before 4560.
  4. Not entirely helpful so far but I will say that for this week the videos on dependent and independent variable have been very helpful
  5. I took the second quiz this morning. I felt it was the same level of difficulty as the first, no harder no easier. My strategy is to spend most of the week reading the text, I complete my DB first and then read again. I take the test as late in the week as my schedule will allow so that I have time to really understand all the material. I am a little old fashion in that I do take notes from the chapter. My study methods are time consuming not time efficient. I actually got a better score on this quiz then the first. The 1st test I missed 3 questions, the 2nd I missed 1. Psych yourself up not out! best of luck to all.
  6. No, it was a difficult test but not impossible or un passable. A majority of the questions are application so understanding how to apply the concepts is key to taking these tests. The other thing I have to so take a deep breath and not watch that damn ticking time clock. Don't let the testing process play games with your head. I also have found for me don't rush taking the test, I try to take the test not before thursday and best to take on Saturday that way I have had ample time to read and review. Best to you and to all of us!
  7. Week 1 is done! Research question: am I more likely to retain information read in my text book if I read while drinking a martini? Is there a literature search available on that?
  8. I just finished Quiz #1 also. I have to say it wasn't too bad, and my grade is good. I did read the entire reading assignment and used the study guide with notations on it as well. Good luck to all.
  9. Me too on the ethics quiz. Where did they get those questions and why have us go thru the exercise at all??? It had me spooked about the real quiz until I read your post. Thank you
  10. So I looked at that Ethics quiz and I don't think there is a problem with the edition of the book. This quiz is difficult! and the answers will not jump out of the book no matter what edition you have. I sure hope the graded quiz is no as difficult.
  11. Class is not posted for me yet
  12. I'm in, not close enough to be counting down the classes but I'm not too far away. I hope to be finished by Feb 2015.
  13. Good Bye Campbell family. According to my research there is no need for me to ever visit West Virginia!
  14. As it was explained to me (by my advisor who is no longer at OU) because my nursing credits were from a hospital diploma program not an associate degree comm college I would not receive those as transfer credits UNTIL i fulfilled 2 of the OU nursing courses. I have since accomplished that and have now received the credit for them and it looks like they accepted 27 credits in lower division nursing. After you have been accepted you will receive a DARS (degree audit report) which is as convoluted as every other document from OU. I had my advisor go thru this with over the phone so I could understand it. There is also a video link on the site that I found by accident that will also go thru the DARS. As just to confirm Woodsyny the statistics course fulfill the math requirement for Gen ed and prereq NSRG 4550 Evidence Based Nursing. Best to you in you pursuit
