In the hospital you work for, are you able to wear any color srcub/outfit? Or is there a designated one for your department?

I have a ? but don't want to violate a rule (am assuming posting a link will be) - I need ceil blue scrubs. There is a site that has 3 tops for $4.97!! but it doesn't offer the "real" color names b/c it isn't a site that normally sells scrubs. The colors offered are light blue, jade, and green. Is what they are calling light blue ceil? I copied the picture and uploaded to my own host so it wouldn't be a promo: 75270_ts.jpg

I used to order from reasonsmedical. My last order in november 05 still has not arrived. They said it was on backorder till january when I ordered. Not a big deal to me cause this has happened before. My backorder date comes and goes. So now I can not get a response via email and there phone does not work. I guess they went out of business. Maybe my american express can refund my money back to me.

What website can you find these scrub tops? Thats a good deal

Thanks for the info. Is there any other sites i can check for scrubs at a good price?

I ordered a stethoscope from them and had the same problem---Contact your credit card company IMMEDIATELY and file a claim. I took me over a month but I did get my money back. They are horrible--no one answers the phone, and when they do, they are rude. They make empty promises and never follow through--I will never do business with them again--but please, CONTACT YOUR CREDIT CARD AND FILE A CLAIM.

Great prices at both of these places. I like uniform advantage the best. That's where I get most of my scrubs.

I've already done that. Just really ticks me off. Luckily my credit card is going to investigate it. When I called them they said usually it has to be within 60 days of purchase. Would'nt you know it my backorder date was past 60 days of purchase. We'll see.

Any color scrub in our facility is acceptable. The only exception is that pants have to be a solid color.

bargain outfitters, but to get them at that price you have to go through the "email specials" section. In any case, do you think it is ceil?

In our mid-size (35 bed) ER, we don't yet have a dress code. A few RN's have even taken to wearing scrub tops and EMT pants (lots of pockets). I suppose someday someone will push the limit and we'll get hit with a code, but so far its worked fine....... As to buying scrubs, you get what you pay for. If you are willing to pay a few extra bucks, smaller outfits like Mainely Scrubs or Green Scrubs sell scrubs made in the USA. They use a slightly heavier weight fabric and (at least for me) are better fitting. They also last alot longer than the cheapo scrubs. If you are just starting out and money is really tight, Allheart does a fair job of offering good prices on major brands like Landau, Dickies or Cherokee. I, too, have had some delays with stethoscope orders from Allheart, but their scrubs seemed to arrive fairly quickly. Best of luck.

How many different pair of scrubs/outfits would you purchase?
