HI I am new in this forum..Can someone enlighten me..It's mind boggling.I am a nurse here in Philippines with 2 years experience.I am planning to take the Nclex exam (state of texas) to be exact.I started my application CES professional report last April 2016 then last August 2016 I received mail that my CES issued report was sent to Texas BON and then stating that language proficiency is not applicable. What do you mean by that?Is that mean I am no longer require to take IELTS EXAM??Then after reading nurses forum here they said one must first pass the IELTS exam as it is one of the requirement for eligibilty to take NCLEX exam...PLEASE HELP SO I CAN CONTINUE WITH MY TEXAS BON APPLICATION.....
Another concern is about the NURSING jurisprudence exam..Can I take it after I pass the Nclex exam?? currently I am studying for my NCLEX exam but I am not determined enough since I am so far yet for the ATT part huhuhuh. Hopefully I will receive my ATT and be focus at that moment.
Please do answer my questions

Best to check with state BON, some states will waiver exam and some will not. Jurisprudence exam can be done after NCLEX

So you paid money for CES that is approved by the Board and then you are going to believe some here say you read on nursing board?
Contact the BON for all your answers, as rules change a lot for nursing boards.
Last time I did an application in Texas they waived the ILETS due to your textbooks being in English in Philippines.
JP Exam is open book, no one should worry about failing it.
thank you for your response silverdragon102 ,I am from the philippines one of my senior said she passed a letter which she requested from the school indicating that her school here in Phil (nursing curriculum was taught in English)my plan is to obtain this letter so I can send it together with my BON application..

Why are you "doing applications" when you are not a nurse?

dudnt you just tell a UK poster that there was no need for overseas nurses in the US, so why encourage this nurse?
I would hope she has either a family visa or spousal/fiancé visa to enter USA since she has spent a lot of money on CES and delivery to USA of paperwork, and also paid the Texas BON.
There is a possibility since they have tons of call centers there, If the poster has a US RN then they can work there for a US company and represent themselves as a RN in USA and get more money.
That I don't know. I am just a backer (business man). Never got into the nursing game, Just paid for people to go to school and do the CES and pay Texas BON. I am not a nurse, just a Kano from Texas.

Because that poster was from the UK and not the Philippines. "Pinay" means Filipino woman. In addition, their job is to help Filipino nurses.
