Hello everyone. I just wanted to start the thread for all the new applicants of RCC's Nursing Program for Spring 2014. This thread is to help each other stay current with old and new information about the program. Share your thoughts about the application process, teas V preparation, acceptance, and support group. Thanks a lot for the info!! :D I'm very excited about starting the nursing program! Would you recommend taking NRN-93 (calculations for health care providers) prior to starting the program?

I think its best to do it before you start. Are they offering it in Winter?

Yes they are on Wednesdays starting January 8th

Yeah, I signed for it as well. I hope it really helps us get a jump start! I'm super excited to start nursing school! :D

yeah thats the one i was thinking of. Im going to try and get into it but i had to reapply for the school so I will probably get a crappy registration date :/ Did anyone buy their books yet? or are you guys waiting till tomorrow's orientation?

So thankful to have gotten in! Just got back from nursing intake today. It eased a lot of my anxieties but I'm still nervous. ?

I have to admit that I was getting a bit anxious already with all the stuff we had to get done, but I couldn't be any happier! :D The professors seems really encouraging, and the curriculum seems outstanding! Plus I love how we get to participate in our community as well. I can't wait to meet you all! :)

I got in!!! omg it is so bittersweet! I am excited for everyone who got in! Also saddened by those who didnt. Please do not give up. God may close doors but opens up others!
